  1. Alas, the QUARTER-FINALS, later tonight, (2) great teams will showcase their talents before an anxious football arena. Greeneville and Co. wishing you all a safe trip both ways and hope you enjoy the Southern hospitality of Chattanooga-Redbank. Now, I'm not too good at predicting scores, but I will put my 2 cents in for the cause! REDBANK LIONS -> ADVANCES TO THE SEMI GREENEVILLE DEVILS :motorbike:"HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU"
  2. Hey Barb, I believe you're old enough to remember a song by Charlie Daniel's Band "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" The devil lost in the song and come Friday night The DEVILS are going to lose in REDBANK
  3. Wow, I can't believe coacht has allowed all of these post more of it concentrated on how boring one's life is instead of being focused on football. I'm hoping this is a reflection of fulton /gv football programs & later tonight the both of you are out of the race and the rest of us can be free of this boring northern exposure! GO REDBANK LIONS REDBANK 38 FULTON * (seeing stars)
  4. Hey Redbank fans what a night! 11-0 and still going strong. Round 2 brings another worthy opponent (Knoxville) Fulton into our not so humble abode (THE DEN). I'm not going to beat around the bush and yes before you say it, IT IS COCKY REDBANK will win this game and Fulton can go jump in the First Creek on their way back to Knoxville. Get off the brackett and get out of our way!
  5. What "different kind of football" are you referring to? You poor clueless teenager. It's ok to be a little cocky when you've got a 10-0 record, but you are acting like you've been there, done that, and bought the T-shirt. All I can do is shake my head and say Bless your little heart. Get off the short bus mentality and think before you type. Fulton has seen plenty of top notch Football programs from across the state, and Chattanooga is competitive, but far from intimidating. We may not be the championship caliber team from a couple of years ago, but we will be competitive. Even though we only won 3 gold Balls, Fulton did play in 5 out of 6 State championship games from 2002 to 2007. So to invite us to come down and play your different kind of football is humorous and makes you look like a fool. No one wants to crash your tailgate party, but let me just say you're deep in your own territory you've got 4th & long in the common sense department. As for the rest of the Red Bank fans... No one judges your level of intelligence, mental capacity, or your passion for your Athletic programs. We too have village idiots who have figured out how to log onto a computer and peck with their two little fingers. Like I said before.... Bless his little heart. Go Falcons.... and Eagles! BOTTOM LINE Thank You photoman for blessing my little heart Redbank to give Fulton an ####ociation whooping if ER don't get-er-done! Same bat time - Same bat channel
  6. I think Boyd Buchanan did it last year by beating us. YES, BOYD BUC DID BUT I 'M REFERRING TO THIS PARTICULAR TEAM, THIS FRIDAY,THIS PLAYOFF YEAR
  7. Fulton, why is confidence being confused with cocky? Are you trying to crash my tailgate party? If you should have the good fortune of beating ER PIONEERS you will have to travel the same road as GIBBS (enjoy the view) Chattanooga play a different kind of football. EASTRIDGE I know you want that re-match real bad, so bring it next friday back to the den.
  8. No disrespect, I've never witnessed a 99% white team beat a team full of athletes- at least it will not happen this Friday it would be like BYU beating FLA. (white man can't jump)
  9. I like the trash talking before the "Friday Lights" its like an internet-tailgait party. Gibbs hope you all enjoy the sights as you travel toward Redbank cause that's going to be the only good thing about your trip! GO FIGHT WIN REDBANK 42 GIBBS (what were you thinking)
  10. I'm not familiar with the old way, from the multiple post all I can gather is that the Z-plan is new and we all know when something is new, you have to work out some bugs to get it just right. I agree with the person that posted (tired of playing the same old teams year after year) and hope that as the Z- plan is tweaked it will bring variety to the post season, give the kids a chance to see the different regions in tennessee, like me, I keep asking where in the world is this school or that forgetting we're all one big happy family of tennessee schools. I do not work or have anything vested in TSSAA, but they know they screwed up, they have acknowledge it, they have apologized, and if you are a coach or players, you need to get over it and get your team ready, if you are a spectator, you need to get behind the players and coaches, and support your teams, and if you are someone that can make a positive difference to help what TSSAA has done hopefully you will help them adjust this animal not for money, but for the kids. If this is done for money then share some of it with the players/coaches that win the championship in their regions.
  11. We have the best high school coaching staff in the nation. I would like to send a big shout out to Coach D (Tim Daniels) and his coaching staff at Redbank on their brilliance in leading the LIONS to their standings of 10-0 and #1 spot in 4A. I have all confidence in the coaching staff and the football team that we will be celebrating 10-0 in a few weeks. Well, we made it official with a win over HIXSON last night. CONGRATULATIONS REDBANK LIONS Now, can Redbank continue the domination all the way to COOKVILLE? Let the real games begin! Go LIONS!
  12. In some regards, a judge and referee has the same responsibilities, and when there's a possible conflict of interest the referee or better yet TSSAA, should make sure nothing questionable happens to reflect favortism for or against a particular team. Just as TSSAA expects the schools and players to meet certain standards to qualify in playing regular and playoff games, we the public, players and coaches should expect the highest of standards from our referees. and TSSAA should make sure with all confidence that this standard is always being met.
  13. Redbank 21, Tyner 10. We had to play against (2) teams: RAMS and ZEBRAS. The Zebras threw out those yellow bandanas more than the ball was thrown, but in the end the Zebras allowed the RAMS to challenge the LIONS and the LIONS, well 7-0. GO BLUENATION RB RAN TYNER-TOWN LAST NIGHT
  14. Indian, fyi, RB did not move up or down we are 4A, Maryville moved up to 6A, and we beat them in a scrimmage earlier. The guys and the supporters are confident and we have every reason to be that way. Honestly, whether you would agree or not, South Pittsburg coaching staff could have called coach Daniels and scheduled a game but chose to play Chatta. Central, a 4A team that's not as talented as Redbank. So, if a team (SP is the best in 1A) why not play the best in 4A instead of scheduling an easy win over a weaker 4A opponent. Red Bank dropped down to Class AA for all sports. The 4A designation is just for the football playoffs. If they'd not lost some enrollment they'd be in Class AAA, in 5A in the postseason. I have no idea what's behind South Pittsburg's scheduling but they play Boyd this week, a team Red Bank just got past. Scrimmages mean nothing. Sequatchie beat Baylor in a scrimmage in the spring and Baylor's now one of the top few teams in the area. Indian, you're right! after all is said and done, scrimmages-records-home field advantage does not dictate the outcome of a game. Yes, there are issues and for the most part the guys who left Tyner are better off, academically as well as athletically. I'm expecting "BLUE" to bring their (A GAME), get a (W), and press on STATE BOUNDWARD. Should Redbank or any other team, for that matter, want anything less?
