Since all the mc fans are busy on the GC thread thumping thier chest I figured I would start a thread for them. I will go with mc. Since FC hasn't had a winning season for years now, I feel the young savior for mc football will see plenty of game time. Only question is, is your defense in trouble with this being the first game of the chauffeur's suspension?

First off I wasn't there so have no clue about the game. What I do know is that GC is a little down at the qb spot right now with one injured and the other mia. It is a little early to panic on this "lucky to win a game thing" Time will tell. GO CATS!!!

I will check with the grounds crew. imo after the soccer season we had on the field there wasn't much grass left on the field last week, so maybe at the practice field at the school.

Hope you are wrong. GC just needs to play a cleaner game than they have been doing lately. Dribble drive is open all night, the post just have to gather themselves and finish the shots or pgs need to hit theirs. Nothing wrong with shooting the 10 ft baseline shot it will be open as well. Just have to make the shots they are suppose to. GO CATS!!!

I know nothing about the teams involved, but did they have any girls headed to play college ball? How will this effect that. I know this is done at the hs level, but at the college level it is a lot harder to get away with. Not sure a college coach would want a player that was part of this, unless they are that talented. Why didn't the coach just suspend his top 2 or 3 players for rules violations or have one fake an injury. Well I guess AAU practice gets to start a little earlier for some this year.

I made a reference to the GC football season, hopefully history doesn't repeat itself. Lost to mc in fball in last game, then won the rematch the following week, then lost next game. GO CATS!! time to pick it up!

Omg, I thought I was dreaming last night, but it was a nightmare. Page came into OUR house and smacked every Bobcat in the mouth. How do you let a team with non matching shoes and indoor soccer shoes hand you a butt whooping like that. Pages whole team took it to the Cats and they had no answer for the 95-66 beating. Some one please get the stats from both girls and boys games, the 3 ball was in large effect last night for GC girls and Page boys. Great game Page. Looks like the Bobcats bball will end like the fball, with a dud.

Looks like it is down to the last game tonight. GC wins and they are in. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Will GC limp into the playoffs like we did in football or will these seniors go out on a sour note? Time to pull it together CATS and get it done. GO CATS!!!

I for one would not call it an upset if GC wins, they beat cpa twice last year and played them well earlier, but with cpas record and the whole public/private thing I can see where someone would call it an upset. GC needs to make the open shots they missed the last game and be better prepared at the end of the game if its close. GC will need more than 1, 3 point shooter and they cant be scared to pull the trigger!

Well dog, if you have cpa @2 then Giles County should be top 5 at least to me. Haven't seen any other teams play so I am just going by your list. GC is a very talented, still young team but could make some noise if the pieces fall together. GO CATS!!!

GC and cpa was a good game, cpa won by 8. GC's poor lay up shooting early and lack of any early outside shooting, shot them in the foot. This game can go either way every time they play, imo. At this level you have to make the easy ones. Should be a fun year to watch either team. GO CATS!!!

Hey matt, since we are the only ones talking, correct me if I am wrong but cpa holds 3 state championships at this time, right? Bball, fball, and soccer. When is the baseball team going to get in the game? They have an awful nice field. jc

I will have to stick with my original prediction. MC/Cascade battle for second and the rest just beat up on each other. Cascade pulled one out tonight at GC. GC shot themselves in the foot. Up 10 with less than 4 mins to go, no need to shoot 3s when you don't shoot them well to begin with. Champions got some game, if cpa held them to 18, its going to be ugly every game they play, unless they start using some 8th graders. Tough loss CATS, heads up and take care of the ball.

I will be at the GCHS/Cascade game tonight. May be able to clear up the district for ya. Cats have struggled, time to return to form tonight. GO CATS!!!

Ok, I will bite. First I haven't seen the first game all season so this will be a past history guess mixed with some inside info. Cascade and Marshall for second and the other 3 battle it out for the bottom, with Page pulling it out in a tie breaker in the end. Of course we will know more after this week. GO CATS!!!

Yes Osteen is a fine young coach and man, but what do you do when a bigger and better school comes calling for his assistance? I am sure mc is not his final destination. Will young Wallace go there? When his soon to be wife gets a softball coaching job at a school with a football coaching vacancy then what. With all the knowledge his dad and brother have acquired over the past 8 years, I am sure they will be able to get the young one through the high school level. Cant wait for that Feb. 2 press conference to find out who gets the "Chosen One". Come on GCHS!!!

I will never pull against GCHS, unless one of these privates around here wants to enroll my last 2 ball players. Got to be a sweet deal tho.

Don't see me pulling for tigers. It will be a long year of work for the sr Wallace if he pulls that stunt. But if everyone would be REAL honest with yourself, why would anyone want their child to be QB any way, esp at GCHS. While Bo was setting the qb bar real high he was constantly getting bashed on here by several so called Bobcat fans. Do you think the young one will not get same treatment if not worse? My kid is "just" the kicker and he is one missed fg or pat from being the worst kicker ever. Hero or goat there has got to be a happy medium. I sit and listen to all the fans with all their plays they should have called and what coaches should have done and I wonder did they ever strap up and play the game in high school. I know mine will work as hard as he can and attend camps this off season. God didn't make everyone equal, but that is no excuse for not working hard to get better than the next man. My rant is over. Call it coat tail riding or supporting a friends child or whatever. By your reasoning half of Pulaski is coat tail riders, esp those of us who have been to OMiss ball games or are wearing OMiss t-shirts. I think b93 even went to an EMCC ball game. My suggestion is just ask mr. Wallace and he will tell you, since we know everybody. Its not my answer to give. I have been cleared by Wallace Inc to release this statement. Febuary 2, after blowing out his 14 birthday candles, the 5' 10" 145 lb young Wallace will have a press conference @BMS to give his community altering, program changing decision as to where he will attend High School. ESPNU will cover the event. Still has a few more college games to attend to first. So until then there is nothing to add. I did hear they are working on a book and movie deal titled "Upside and Downside The life of a SEC QBs little brother". I hear Hugh Freeze may actually play himself in this one. GO CATS!!!
