ok let me stop you there cause i get tired of hearing about how we are gonna lose because we have players playing both ways. we've heard it over and over again but guess what...every game we've played, we've been the ones still going full speed in the forth quarter while the opposing team is walking around on the field...we are in top shape and the fact that we have players going both ways WILL NOT be a factor in this game...we have WAY to much heart to lay down when we get tired or winded...instead, we bow our backs and go harder when we are tired cause we know that this game is a game of inches and at the end of the game the team that has the most inches will come out with a victory, so we, as a whole team, will claw and scratch for that extra inch no matter the conditions or how tired or winded we are...we can our suffer any team we play against and that is just one of the many reasons we are so dangerous. nobody has to worry about the devils not being ready this week...we have worked hard all week and are more than ready for whites creek to come into the devils den!!! should be a decent game, both teams have outstanding defense and greeneville has a unstoppable offense when they get started, but i don't really know much about whites creeks offense...one day left!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

ok i'm gonna be straight with everyone...i'm sure almost everyone already knows i'm actually a greeveville defencsive starter...and when i read this it gets me upset cause i'm sure all these people that are sayin we can't hang have never seen us play, we work harder than most teams if not all...yes no doubt red bank will be the biggest game we have played all year and yes the winner of this game will more than likely be state champs...but red bank doesn't need to count us out...we have a nag for beating undefeated teams and putting them out of the playoffs in the third round (sullivan south last year)...and as for their offense being a track meet and them thinkin we cant hang well i promise you greeneville will not run out of steam...we have conditioned way to much for that and everyone is in great shape...IMO that was a big factor in the last fridays game, brainerd got tired and it showed but the devils just kept rolling...yes the devils will have to a much better game than they played this previous friday but our defense will hold out as usual and if our offense can get rolling then red bank might be in trouble...its my senior so i'm going to be putting everything on the line this coming friday and so will all of my team mate...they know how important this game is...good luck to red bank, i'm sure it'll be a blood bath that will come down to the end of the game.

we are playing good right now and i just hope we can keep it up...brainerd is the complete opposite of central...central was SLOW but physical, brainerd is FAST but lazy...greeneville is FAST, PHYSICAL, AND DEFFINTALLY NOT LAZY!!!

yes i too believe it will be a hard fought football game for all 4 quarters and yes you all do have a good team this year and yes you all MAY have the upper hand in the offensive scheme, BUT...you all haven't been in a battle yet, ya'll haven't been tested yet, ya'll haven't had a shootout game with any team so far...we have, we've been in that situation twice already with 2 of the top ranked teams and had chances to win both...we have the upper hand there...plus we are at home, the Greene Devils do not lose at home, that is just unacceptable to the boys on the team.

I decide when it's time for me to "start talking trash", 325 yards on 42 carries for the Vikings in the Science Hill game (that's over 7 yards per carry as a team). Scored on every possession but one. Held one of this regions premier backs to under 30 yards and one TD (there are three of them so far this year. Everybody knows who they are, and non of them wear green on Friday night). You didn't see the game....did you? I would bet money that three of the Vikings previous four opponents would stand a MUCH better chance of beating Greeneville than Greeneville has in beating THS. And I hate to be the bearer of bad news but... winning all the scrimmages in the world aint gonna get you a 4th place ranking in the State on the AP pole. Rollins said he was going to go. Said the knee felt fine and was able to push off of it good, so we'll have to wait and see. Science Hill is the best team you have played! and you only beat them by 2 touchdowns! and it was an 8 point game until about 4 mins to go in the forth!!!...oh did i mention we whooped Science hill in our scrimmage! with injuries!...we are back at full strength!!! when you play someone that is actually good then you can start talking trash...understand!?

chaze is almost a definate yes to play...as for rollings he is still very questionable...and if chaze does play i don't think he'll be out there the whole time, he'll probably have to take breaks due to soreness

You aint lieing about the football gods! we have had more injuries this year after only playing 4 games than we did all year last year...and Malone was just gettin in a groove and was really starting to help us! we will bounce back just like we always do though, we can never let anything slow us down and all the Devils know it...Greene Devils will be ready this coming Friday night

no chaz could not of went against south greene. he is still limping but is back and practicing...will probably play against THS, don't know about rollins but jamel's cast comes off soon i believe GO DEVILS!!!

i'm sorry barb, i usually agree with you, but how could you think we get home cookin? we continously get penalties anywhere we go. refs DO NOT help us at all!...and for the remark by whoever it was about us getting blown out? expect it to be a hard fought battle this coming friday. both teams are great teams and both are coming off of big wins...one advantage, in the last 3 years Gville has only lost one at home and that was the first game against Jeff County last year. (this is not including the Maryville game though). the devils are hard to beat at home! GO DEVILS!!!

all i gotta say is who doesn't have an explosive running back? BJ scored 5 TD's and was absolutely unstoppable! Gvilles secondary had a little trouble in the begining of the game but came out with 2 or 3 ints. i gotta give it to SG though, they have one of the better county teams anyone will see. GO DEVILS!!!

actually for your info...in the Jeff County and Sullivan South games most if not all our points were through the air! coach knows Quarles can throw and does have faith in him...oh and Church is 5'8 just to let you know...also remember that last game Church played with a cast that limited his ability somewhat, now that cast is off...just sayin don't under estimate Church's ability to jump and to get into position and his ability to hit! GO DEVILS!!!

the greene devils do not think that this one is in the bag at all! we know we cant come out flat...and as for the whole weak QB thing. Quarles is head and shoulders better that Susong and this is his first year as a starter...oh and about the Church haveing to be able to touch rim cause Susongs passes are 10 ft+ in the air, take into consideration that he can jump wit the best of them and if they do go up that high some unlucky SG reciever will be coming back down doing back flips!
