Coach Crews told me this story about Coggins once. They were seated at a table with one of the guys up for Mr. Football. He looks at Coggins and says, you up for Mr. Football? You a kicker or something? I think that's how he told it anyway... I'm guessing he was much smaller than the others, and they couldn't believe he was a RB. Lol I always liked that story, it really tells the tale of Wayne County football. Not always the biggest players, but always a scrappy bunch.

You played against my brother. He played '99-'02, C/OLB/DEMan, you guys are talking my kind of football now. I remember watching those guys and thinking to myself. I can't wait to play high school football.... Wildcat #2, do you realize it's been 9 years this Friday since we played our last game.

While I do agree with you on that, I was being sarcastic in my previous post. I liked your previous post btw... I think WC was slowed down with rice out on offense. But, I believe the strength of this WC team is their defense. I might be wrong but I think every team has been held to their loswest point total, when WCs varsity is on the field, against WC(excluding Scotts Hill).

The only thing I have to say, is that WC didn't play with the intensity they usually do. I don't know if it was over confidence or looking ahead...or what.... Congrats on y'all's season and congratulate those lineman for me, very impressed with them tonight.
