Parks(#3) and Davis(#1) can't be stopped, they keep us in games. We would have beaten McMinn Co had they not gotten ejected at the half. The Cookeville game could of had a different outcome if Davis wasn't suspended. And Voytik is a gamer, love the kid, he is one heck of a QB. To bad players had to bolt to WV this year, and to bad guys had to quit. But oh well, we better off without them. 2game win streak!! yeah!!! Really funny. Just admit this, Cleveland's program is in trouble. They couldn't even field a freshmen team this year and I don't know of any replacements for Parks or Davis. You have more empty seats on the home side than you do on the visitors sides on Friday nights. Funny thing is this Friday I bet the home side will be filled but I bet more that half of those fans will be pulling for Benny. Better enjoy this 2 game win streak it may be the last win streak for awhile, a long while.

Listen not all Bear fans are sore losers. Most are just tired of losing. First off we never had a chance the Owls were the better team period. Second our little freshmen QB does a good job but if you were to ask any football coach at any level before a season started that they would have to play with a freshmen QB they would tell you that they wouldn't win many games that season. That said we have a chance to go 5-5 not too bad with a young QB. Next year will be interesting because we have most of our skill positions back but we lose most of our linemen. So next year will be interesting to see if we can finally put together a winning football season. By the way you are right wrestling season is almost here. LOL

With all due respect, when has Bradley not been down? I mean, be honest with yourself, it's not like being bad is something new to Bradley. This year isn't an anomaly for the Bears....it's the norm. Actually, it's probably thier best year in the last 8 or 9? Except for the few years Coach Price was there, Bradley has probabaly been below .500 for 75% of the time in the last 20 years. It's not stooping down to state a fact. ps: Wear you Black & Gold with pride, and support your team. Just don't make irrational statements of grandeur about Bradley football's prowess, and you'll be received much better. I have been wearing the Black and gold for over twenty years and i will continue to do so, I was just having a little fun the the Owl fans. And for once i agree with you as far as this years team being the best in the last 9 years, but i think we could have won any of the loses this year........if we could have done a few things differently. But no need to cry over spilled milk, just a couple of weeks left. I've been thinking and I would agree with you that this is the best Bear team since 2001 but I have to stop and wonder how this same team would have done if they played in the old Knoxville region like the teams from 2001-2008 had to play in. I think this Bear team is a product of a easier schedule compared to the past Bear teams. It is just my opinion but with the easier Region schedule it is hard to compare this team with past teams (2001-08).

I think this will be a close game but I'll go with Rhea 21 and Cleveland 20.

Since Coach Smith has been at Bradley Central I have never seen a teams quickness take them out of a game,they are pretty quick and athletic themselves. BCHS will lose a few due to youth this season and probably beat some teams you think they shouldnt..But overall this may be the deepest team Coach Smith has ever had,and thats saying allot. Not sure about most talented, I will wait 2 more years to make that judgement. In the last 20 years, I dont remember Howard ever beating BCHS when they have played. But I tend to forget losses ,so someone can correct me if that is incorrect. Coach Smith is a great coach but this years team will not be anywhere near one of Coach Smiths top teams. I agree that in two years they will be better but still not close to Coach Smiths best teams. I will say that Coach Smith has done his best coaching jobs with his lesser talented teams and I am sure he will do so again this year. Good luck Bears.

I agree with you that its been 9 or 10 years since the Bears have had a winning team. I know the Owls are one of the top teams around and have been for about the same amount of time the Bears have been down. But before that time I remember the Owls used to be everyones homecoming game. I say all that to say that things go in cycles and who knows in a year or two or maybe three that things may cycle again. But not this year Owls 35 the Bears 7.

The Wildcats would not be able to hang with the Owls. They are a very good 3A team.

The Eagles will be a much better team next year. Plenty of young talent.

Cleveland played better vs. Cookeville but showed they are better than their record. Walker Valley had no chance vs. Ooltewah. McMinn County starting to roll. Soddy Daisy making their move for the playoffs. Ooltewah could it be their year? Rhea County looking forward to next year. Bradley loss to Soddy has hurt playoff hopes.

I am not bashing any kids. I commend the boy. He is the best at Bradley land,Way to go freshman QB... but, he could not start for the freshman team at Ooltewah and those are the facts....get it ....is that clear????.........crystal????? You have never seen him play I agree Copeland would be better than most JV QB's but he is playing VARSITY. In a few years I am sure he will be one of the best but until then he is just a Freshmen.

I just found the strength of schedule for football on the homepage of coacht and was curious what other thought. While I agree that Ooltewah is one of the best teams in the state, I wonder just how the strength of schedule at this point of the season has given some teams false reputations on what type of team they really are. I guess what I am trying to say is maybe Cleveland isn't that bad and maybe Bradley isn't that good? Maybe Rhea is really just bad this year? I just wanted to hear what other think. 3A District 5 strength of schedule Team - Schedule Rank - Over all record - My comments Cleveland #10 (1-4) I think better than their record. Talent still there just need to get it together. Walker Valley #13 (1-5) I think better than their record. Tough schedule but they can improve. McMinn County #35 (3-2) I think better than their record. They could make some noise in playoffs. Soddy Daisy #47 (2-3) I think much better than their record. Very tough schedule so far. Ooltewah #58 (5-0) Undefeated Ranked #1 enough said Rhea County # 67 (1-4) Weak schedule bad record. I think just a down year for the Eagles Bradley #74 (3-2) Over rated. Schedule has been friendly the first half of season. Not anymore.
