Another win for a 5a team over the ridgers.At least clinton lost to a team in a larger class.Maybe o.r. can start playing down somewhere below 5a.All the fans are back at the ship,the greatest coach in anderson county,tailgating and kissing among the fans.Only thing missing are some good football players.

Forget the class.How many students do they both have this year.

Jose went to Vandy last weekend and i hear he is real close to a written offer.Kent ST has already offered and i hear both will be at game tommrow.MTSU is suppose to be at the game and give him a offer before the game.Alex St has been helping MTSU try to get him

OR Nole, do you know anything about Sam Bingham. I know he is a senior and a starter and that he has been out of action. Do you know what his injury is and when he'll be back? He's been in the program for a long time and I know he will help the team. Anybody?

Sam could play tommrow but prob next week or at the latest 2 weeks.Torn miniscus.Deron Williams will be starting on the d line aganist powell as of today and Shink out forever because of enlarged heart.Deron was broke bone in hand I think

Gulmire will help some.Blade needs all the help he can get.Powell has lots more talent and gets another win for 5a over the 6a cats.

Powell has more than Oak Ridge now is what I heard.Anyway Alcoa is 3a and could beat any 6a.

Mr SPENCER GULMIRE IS THE NEW LB COACH AND THAT IS GREAT FOR OAK RIDGE.I WOULD'VE LOVED TO C HIM PLAY IN THIS DISTRICT.HE WOULD HAVE SET ALOT OF RECORDS.JOSE REALLY WAS KILLING FOLKS AGAIN TONIGHT.CAM GREGG WAS MVP.INT FOR TD,BLOCK PUNT AND REC TD.

One of the Colquitts.Im a Clinton fan and dont know alot about OR.I just heard that and i watched him play and was impressed.Its hard cheering for Oak Ridge but I gotta go for my cuz the next few years and I have had fun watching OR and meeting new people.Oak Ridge people have been great to get to know and there are alot of true wildcat fans that just love the program.My dragons will be back though in about 15 years.

Blades been there one year and a couple of months.Talk about players gettin better in 2 years.Watch Oak Ridge in 2012 and then start talking about it.See how good these sophs are when they are seniors.Oak Ridge is fine.All these people from other teams wouldnt be on here bashing Oak Ridge and taking there shots if they thought Oak Ridge wasnt a threat.Go see how many people are bashing karns and my team clinton.Its been goin on for years.Nobody likes the great teams.Oak Ridge is lacking that one playmaker from being great and he is on his way.Haters

I think Central 20 -14.But I really think Oak Ridge will be 10 times better about 6 games into the season.All the sophs will get alot better and they are not to bad right now.2 or 3 starters on the line will be back which will send flowers back to defense and help alot.Coach Blade said in the spring flowers could be the best d end he ever coached when its said and done.He was moved bc of injurys.Anybody have news on when 4 sure Sam Bingham and Jaron will be back.I also heard Shink Jackson is 50/50 if he would be back.I know he would be Oak Ridges 2nd best O lineman.But more important is a healthy heart.I think Oak Ridge would really go up a level if jose and some others played both was atleast some.I dont think a D-1 player should come off the field much.But I was watching my cuz play and get ready bc the player Oak Ridge fans have been waiting on is Jalen Henderson.I couldnt belive how good he was.They said he works with Jerry Colquitt 3or 4 times a week and it shows.He can run all day and pass even better.Be ready bc he is gonna be great.

Well I see my buddy AllVol is popping off again about Farragut. Hey AllVOL, I did see the game Friday. The only thing that stopped that "soft" line, short players, and that other "blah blah" you mentioned were penalties, conservative play calling, and poor execution... Not Oak Ridge. The offense had several drives that were stalled and missed 3 field goals. Farragut had over 400 yards in offense to Oak Ridge's 260 yards. (FACT) They're young and getting better each week. So do all of us a favor and quit hating on the Admiral kids and find a new hobby on Friday nights. Take up chess or better yet, go watch YOUR team play. As I've stated on other posts, who's YOUR team? That seems to be a secret, I'd love to pick them apart as you seem to enjoy doing to Farragut. Because unless your Maryville or Alcoa.... You can't touch the run Farragut's had over the past 5 years. :

What kind of run have they been on.What has the end result been the last 5 years?Do you get a trophy for goin to the playoffs?If your happy with the last 5 years ending how it has then that should tell you all you need to know about your program.I didnt know it made your season to beat Oak Ridge.

I tuned into touchdown friday night with kenny hawkins and they didnt even show highlights of DB's victory. They didn't even have any DB memorabilia on the show (had several others schools). What the heck? I guess maybe they didnt have any footage with the game at clinton but they showed everyone from JI Burton to Unaka. Does ole Kenny have something against DB?

Looks like its back to normal for my dragons.I stayed home and watched my cuz play farragut on tv.I didnt think my dragons had a chance.We have a team like last years about once every 25 years.Living next to Oak Ridge we know how it is to have to deal with a state powerhouse.It must be nice to have a good team almost every year.I just hope it dont get as bad as it did from 2001 to 2008 where we won about 5 games in 7 years.Good luck and stay healthy

hey i was just wonderin if anybody on here could tell me how jose from oak ridge is doin this year. i met him at the NUC combine this past april and was just wantin to keep track of him. thanks.

Jose is doin great.He killed his man all night.He is better then Alex St who plays for MTSU.One written offer from d1 and its kent st.He will get a big offer before the season ends.I watched the game on tv tonite and the ball hit the ground without a doubt with the ref standing right over it.Tuff break and that would have been the game but I really wish coach Rosser would give up play calling because you couldnt have ran a worse play at the end.Oak Ridge would move the ball with ease under center and score.Then we would go back to that stupid spread shotgun and be lucky to get a yard.I dont know why they are trying so hard to make that work.Bradly is not a passing QB at all.He is a gifted runner and so much better rolling out and throwing screens and short slants.I think Blade is a great coach and will get it together.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RUN RUN RUN RUN THE BALL.Huge advantage to have a game under your belt to.Maybe Oak Ridge can get a week zero game in the future.Anybody know when starting o lineman sam b,shink jackson and jaron will be back.We have to play Jose and Flowers on D more.To young to not have guys playing both ways.

Dee Sh #3 former Oak Ridger and our best player has a big game and we win 28-26.Man im glad we didnt play DB from 2000 to 2009.Who won the Db vs Oak R game in 2005?I think when the ridgers beat us 74-0.

Wow, you guys make my head hurt. DB is a storied program - 13 "official" state titles, all before the playoff era, is quite impressive. But some of you DB fans do an awful lot of talking for a program that has never once played in a TSSAA state title game, combined with a losing playoff record. I get sick of some Oak Ridge fans doing a lot of talking too, but at least they have 4 titles and a runner-up finish in the playoff era (plus 4 additional "official" state titles).

Say what u want about wins and titles.Im a Clinton fan and I do think it means alot when teams from Bristol to Memphis know who u are.Teams like DB and Oak Ridge are known across the state.Tenn High and Powell and teams like that are just another game.But to play and beat teams like DB and Oak R is somthing to get pumped about and somthing every team remembers.When we get a chance to beat Oak Ridge and do it we make T-Shirts about it

I just state facts as I see them. Why don't you stop dodging questions and answer some for a change. Go back over my posts and have the guts to answer the questions posed to you. Despite your belief that you know it all...you do not. I believe that we will beat Farragut and I am certain that you KNOW that we will, even if it is several days before the game.

Why did I hear Blade tell his team after the Cak scrimmage that it was his fault they wasnt sharp and he promised them he would not let it happen again.I have never heard Blade act like he is the best ever.It seems like u have heard somthing wrong.When your the only one who feels that way maybe u should look around and see that your the odd man out and admit u might be wrong on this one

I agree that Blade knows his football, but being "Coach of the Year" has little to do with it. Stevens has also been "Coach of the Year" and most of our fans don't think much of his football knowledge. The fact is that Stevens has won just as many state championships as Blade and neither has won one here.

When was Stevens TN sportswriters coach of the year?Has he ever out coached Maryville before?Coach Blade was also the d-coordinater of the number one ranked team in California.He really made the best out of his time playing linebacker at San Diego St.You kinda have to be a good coach to be invited to speak at the nike coach of the year clinic.My main point is there is no doubt how good of a coach he is.So just know they have the best coach for the job and that will not be the problem anymore.

I personnally think OR fans should relax a little. Coach Blade is not the same kind of Coach you had in the past. Coach Blade uses scrimmages to test and teach, not fine tune what he already knows he has. Testing new and backup players and teaching them at the same time for later in the season. Coach Blade coaches for the FUTURE and not just one game away.

Very well said.Rian Hall is a real PLAYMAKER and he and a few others were out to.I dont know why Oak Ridge fans do this every year.Blade knows his football or he wouldnt have been coach of the year.

Thats what everybody said last year and the ridgers d only allowed one td aganist state runner up Maryville.They couldve beat my dragons if the ball bounced that right way.(Some say it did) They lost in the 1st rd in a heartbreaker without there QB.And dont forget beating those MAVS and holding that so called high powered offense to almost nothing.I hate to say it but there is no more Stanton Stevens to hold those cats back.They have a huge coaching advantage in every game but Mville.And you know how good those Sophs are gonna be by seasons end

Ahhaha! Good one, but it was Corey Washington. Corey W. was the most improved player on last years team and i think he is going to have another great year especially with him playing on offense too!

Yea I think Corey W is the MVP of this years team.He has really come along.

Why hasnt hall and some other players been playing.I think Jose will be one of the best in the state.He was killin folks.

I agree.Im a Clinton fan and I will admit Blade is one of the best coaches ive seen in high school.I went to a couple of games last year and watched the mville game on tv.Clinton had more talent than Oak Ridge last year.Its rare and most Clinton fans thought it was the year Clinton could get a big win.Most Clinton fans said last years team was one of the best Clinton teams ever.Now on the other end it was one of the least talented team Oak Ridge has ever had.Oak Ridge couldve won that game and that says alot about Blade.Its scary to think what he can do with so great talent Oak Ridge is use to.I just hope we(Clinton) can keep it close in the coming years.
