Talking about schedules.........yall only won two(2) games over teams with a winning record. That is sad. Yall even got beat by a 4A team. Giles County is the 4A defending state champs and I will have to give you one with the Loretto game. Thats nothing more than a money game for both teams. Yall have a weak schedule and a week conference! Thats the real truth! Yall are starting to bore me And one other thing, Giles County beat Cookeville and Cookeville beat yall. Very Sad indeed!!

Well one thing is certain.........I now know what the rest of the teams in your district doesn't like Cleveland! You are a cry baby. I think it is totally embarrassing that while Soddy was using your team as a whippin post last week your team and your fans were yelling "well we are district champs"! Now you want to get on here and start crying too. I know all about some of your players being "iffy". Talk about being classless! You just bring your boys and some of those Soddy boys too Friday night and we will have us a football game! One thing is for sure, we will be playing with all young men from Lawrenceburg!!

I am not sure how you can think that by you saying our "team" is cheap and classless is better than me saying your QB's name. My statement was made just in the response of the Cleveland fans on here saying we were cheap shots and we did things in the pile which is stupid! Our team does not play that way and, yes, I didn't like it. Do I want our kids to go after your QB, NO, but if you are going to say we are cheap and classless then that would be something a cheap and classless team would do! My statement was actually intended as a littel poke at the statement of getting up quick and I actually put a little smiley face at the end of it. I know the QB has a hurt finger but, if you ever played football and were ever in an actual pile, it is kind of hard to find a QB's finger and actually pull on it! I guess what I am saying is yall want to talk a little crap but we have to play by certain rules. No talking about one certain player, no saying anything bad about Cleveland, never mention Soddy, do not talk about your team not getting any awards except the district championship and never say anything about any of your players transfering from another school. You can however say that LCHS is cheap, classless, they hit late, they will poke and pull on things in the pile and they only complain about the refs when they lose. The difference is that we can take it and not cry about it! I sure hope your football team is a little tougher than certain Cleveland fans or they may not even finish the game!! GO WILDCATS

My above statement that has offended you so terribly was in response to an earlier post about us being cheap."So boys when you go down get up quick so they can't punch,pinch or pull on you under the pile." The cheap and classless started much earlier in these post when the Clevland fans started calling us a cheap team."From what we heard you only cheap shot people after the whistle and spear people on the ground. I am sure people would be sore with hits like that." So I guess its ok for your fans to talk a little crap but heaven forbid us to say anything to offend you! You big Softy!! This big trophy may not mean as much to you soon when your team only has a 6-4 season, is a #6 seed and has to travel 4 hours away to get a beat down very similar to what you received from a Soddy team. Boy, that will be a season to tell the grandkids about one day!!

Cheap and Classless?? You Cleveland fans really know how to hurt peoples feelings!! I would have to say in football every play could end ones career. I wasn't the one that started slinging mud, it was one of your buddies! If yall are going to label us as cheap before you even play us then pulling a finger or two would be much better than being speared or hit late. There is a big difference between playing hard and being cheap and classless. I hope LCHS lays the wood to your boys friday night and shows you what the difference is between 5AAA and 8AAA!! I shouldn't have said that about 5AAA because I have respect for Bradley Central, Soddy Daisy and the other teams in that district! You call us classless and it is your team that didn't have a single player receive and honor in District 5AAA. What a slap in the face!! The other coaches don't even like your team!!

Not cheap.......undisciplined. It wasn't the team but more like a couple players that just didn't have enough discipline to pull up as the whistle was blowing. The difference is the players are now older and more disciplined to know that the team doesn't need a penalty. I would have to say if there is any pinching and poking I would hope the LCHS boys are smart enough to go after Voytik's index finger!!

You hit the nail on the head!! The Tullahoma game was not very well officiated to say the least. Very questionable calls. You are also correct about the team being more disciplined this year. You could just about bet on at least a couple late hits and usually from the same couple players. I guess all the running and actually growing up a bit has solved that problem. I don't see LCHS changing their play because of a couple close calls. They need to keep playing hard and hope for some good refs that understand football is a contact sport!!

What team did yall play that ran the WingT? There are not many that still run that but when its run right it is hard to stop.

Stink, Stank, Stunk..........right back at you phishy!! I read JVB123's post and admitted that if what he said was true then so be it. Then you go and hurt my feelings! That is not very nice. I am not even a Soddy Daisy fan but I am starting to understand how they feel with fans such as yourself! LCHS made it to the 2nd round last year and got beat by a very good Mitchell team and I guess the biggest win would have to be the Craigmont game last year due to the fact it was one of the schools first! The next biggest win will probably be Friday night against the 5AAA champs!!

Come on people!! If I can admit that I was wrong about who won the district then surely yall can let a tranfer that actually was a none factor in the game between yall go! The running back had something like 1 yard in the first half and 60 in the second half. To me it may have actually fired up the Soddy team. Move on!!

If you indeed talked with someone at TSSAA as you said you did then then I stand corrected. I still feel as if my arguement was correct if they had gone by the way the handbook is written but if they say it misworded a bit then Congratulations Cleveland, District 5AAA champs!!

I would say that could be the understatement of the year!! I think it is great to be loyal to your team! I guess you will be making the trip over Friday night? How will the team be traveling and what time will they have to leave? I figure its a good 3 hour 45 min bus ride if its a minute.

You are right VOLFAN!! We do need to just let all this who won first and who won second crap go. I can just hear the LCHS coaches telling their team that the runners up, no the champions, no the runners up of District 5AAA will be coming to town Friday night! Actually, I bet neither team gives a big whoop where they finished in the district. Its time to play some football!!!

The most important thing you are missing is, WHEN ONE TEAM HAS BEATEN ALL THE OTHERS THAT ARE TIED. This does NOT mean on the field or head to head!!! This means in the TIE BREAKER. The rule is plain as day people!! Read the handbook. It is not some junk they just decided to randomly print. This is how the TSSAA determines who wins the District so they know what 2 teams to place in the playoffs!! Bradley Central wins DISTRICT 5AAA by winning the first #1 tie breaker. That would be overall wins for some of the Cleveland fans that somehow can't understand. I just can't understand how this is so complicated. Things are obviously not the same as they used to be. The playoffs are different and the tie breaker for the district is different. Second place with a 6-4 record is not bad!
