I am not sure.Fedora did end the mildcats season. But cute andy has 2 wins over the mild ones from the atomic city.

From my understanding, Jay Graham pretty much took over HC responsibilities in that game, so you can thank him. Cute Andy didn’t need help, though. Cute Andy could’ve beaten us without any assistant coaches.

I appreciate that. You seem to be one of the more loyal and level headed fans on here regardless of school preference

I try to be, at least. But when you’ve been going to games since as long as you were able to walk, it’s hard not to be somewhat of a homer, if you know what I mean. Most of what you say about OR is true. You do seem to know a lot about the program.

I give credit where credit is due. Positively or negatively. I just enjoy HS football and have so many connections/family everywhere that I don't pull for a team.

I hear you. Honestly, I agree with most things you say, as far as strategy and X’s and O’s go.

It happened yes. If you were alive then I would say keep talking about it. I don't know you or how old you are. I would be proud too if I was a part of those teams.

Not jealous, but I wouldn't mind getting a job to where I do nothing all day and collect a check.

I know OR has a great history and the town itself being a war town and lasting this long is a good story. Check my post though you are not the only school that gets hate from me by any means

Trust me, I know. You go around throwing shade on every team. That’s exactly what I’m saying. If you actually pulled for a team it wouldn’t be that easy to do, because then you’d run the risk of the team you pulled for gettin’ that a** whipped by the teams you throw shade on. Like I said, easy to do when you don’t have a team.

I mean thats typical OR people living in the past. Come on 60s? I wasn't even alive then.

No I am not cummings, don't know the guy at all. I just know how things work over there my circles overlap theirs in a lot of ways.

It still happened. So what if it was in the 60s, you can’t erase history. Should nobody care Maryville had all those state championships 40-50 years from now? Of course not. What happened happened, doesn’t matter if it was 100 years ago. And your circles may overlap, but you hate a lot on Gaddis. Not sure if it’s jealousy or what, but it’s pretty glaringly obvious. And at least we have a storied past to look upon. That’s more than 90% of schools in this state can claim.

Not too sure I’d be so quick to throw shade on another school, if I didn’t even claim a school like yourself. It’s easy to do when you don’t.

You will not be able to replace Dozier he was a stud and wasted for years.

Heyward started strong and then fell of but he will be missed still

Rembert could fly and was also underused. Not being replaced.

Track has started to close the gap with football. It does not help that the current AD is just stealing money(collecting his check) while the assistant AD is a XC/Track guy who always hated football. Current AD is too worried about not hurting anyone's feelings to do anything at all. Heck he is gotta be 70 plus and looks like a fool wearing kid shoes

    Who is the assistant AD?

Track has always been big at OR. Ran off about 7 straight titles in the 60s. Your hate for Gaddis runs deep, huh? What did he ever do to you, to make you disdain him that much? You can’t seem to stop talking about the guy. He’s living rent free in your head. Might wanna get that checked out, you don’t wanna go to the grave with that on your heart. Cummings, is that you? Lol

I just give credit where I think credit is due. Opinions are my own. I will say that too many people on here are just puppets for other folks

I’m honestly just giving ya a hard time bud. You can pull for, hate on, or whatever you choose to do all you want. Free country after all. Not sure what you mean with the puppet comment.

I gave Dozier nothing but praises all year and said he needed the ball more

You did, you did!! I’ll give you that. I just think you were enamored by him more than anything, definitely wasn’t because you liked OR. Ha

I totally agree but just don’t want to see people jumping the gun by insinuating it was for athletic reasons. Nobody knows at the moment except for those involved in the incident itself and those investigating.

You’re right, I shouldn’t jump the gun on it. Hopefully it isn’t related to the sports programs, because it’ll end up affecting a lot of innocent kids who just enjoy playing sports.

I think if either were their own school system then it wouldn't have happened. Of course a lot will make sense if they student who got their grades changed was an athlete

Yeah, you might be right. We will see what happens. Should be interesting.

I know Hickory is worried about Keith now that they beat OR. Wonder why he hasn't posted yet. Him and Benanti are awful quiet these days.

Eh, I just think they got caught. It was gonna happen sooner or later, no matter who ended up turning them in. Even Dragon92 knew they were cheating, one of the biggest Clinton fans in the world, and probably THE biggest on here.

Ever heard of fulton high school? Things change

Im not saying you’re wrong or right. I just think that AC is worried Clinton might catch them if whatever they are doing continues. I know he is bringing kids in

I don’t think AC is worried too much. They’ve been manhandling Clinton for over a decade now, including Keith’s teams.

Things don’t change that dramatically all at once lol. Fulton is the result of a few decades, at least. But yeah, my main point is the obviousness of all the kids he’s brought in there.

I have always known Clinton and the football team to be diverse. Not saying its like Knox but I would say more so than you're leading onto.

Maybe more kids are wanting to play for a minority coach like that OL that commityed to Colorado over UT due to Deion "looking like him"- Jordan Seaton

They typically have a handful of black kids (nothing at all wrong with that, it’s great), but these past few years both sides of the ball have been primarily black kids. Again, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, in general, all I’m saying is that the past few seasons or so, the teams demographics just doesn’t match what it has been, historically speaking. And that didn’t start, until Keith got there. That’s all I’m saying. Rather odd how that just starts magically happening ever since he got there.

Not if you do not have proper funding.  Plus why would someone come on board for less than full time teacher pay?  Most of these moves happen in the offseason anyway.

G-man, just let it be. You aren’t gonna win with The Sheriff & ILB. Neither one of them ever have anything good to say about the Wildcats. I’m sure they’re both good people in real life, but neither has much love at all for the OR. Anything slightly negative concerning OR, they run with it.

I agree that they would have to have a clean house before throwing rocks

I just think they were worried about all the players they kept getting in.

It is out of control….big time. Something needs/needed to be done. When 90% of your football team is African American, and 95% of the school is white, something fishy is going on. It’s way too obvious.

The biggest cheaters always turn in others

Sometimes that’s the case, but not always. If so, they could have it turned right back around on themselves. If they were also doing that, why would they wanna bring it to light? I’m sure someone at Clinton would be in the know, if so. Word gets around quickly in a small town.

My guess is this was sports related and people at Anderson County were the ones who started this investigation

Well, if something like that was taking place, they need to have been outed, so good on AC if so.

If you have tenured teachers, you cannot just remove them to make a spot for a coach.  Most of those type moves happen in the offseason over the summer anyway.  If said coach cannot teach say a math or history open teaching spot and is only good for physical education then a person in that spot has to move out or your said coach doesn’t get that spot.  Usually how it works.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. It ain’t as easy as hey, even though you’ve been a tenured teacher for however many years, we now have a guy that coaches football, which makes him more important than you, so you have to go since he’s a football coach!! Lol Life isn’t that simple.
