I try to be, at least. But when you’ve been going to games since as long as you were able to walk, it’s hard not to be somewhat of a homer, if you know what I mean. Most of what you say about OR is true. You do seem to know a lot about the program.

I hear you. Honestly, I agree with most things you say, as far as strategy and X’s and O’s go.

Trust me, I know. You go around throwing shade on every team. That’s exactly what I’m saying. If you actually pulled for a team it wouldn’t be that easy to do, because then you’d run the risk of the team you pulled for gettin’ that a** whipped by the teams you throw shade on. Like I said, easy to do when you don’t have a team.

It still happened. So what if it was in the 60s, you can’t erase history. Should nobody care Maryville had all those state championships 40-50 years from now? Of course not. What happened happened, doesn’t matter if it was 100 years ago. And your circles may overlap, but you hate a lot on Gaddis. Not sure if it’s jealousy or what, but it’s pretty glaringly obvious. And at least we have a storied past to look upon. That’s more than 90% of schools in this state can claim. Not too sure I’d be so quick to throw shade on another school, if I didn’t even claim a school like yourself. It’s easy to do when you don’t.

Track has always been big at OR. Ran off about 7 straight titles in the 60s. Your hate for Gaddis runs deep, huh? What did he ever do to you, to make you disdain him that much? You can’t seem to stop talking about the guy. He’s living rent free in your head. Might wanna get that checked out, you don’t wanna go to the grave with that on your heart. Cummings, is that you? G-man, just let it be. You aren’t gonna win with The Sheriff & ILB. Neither one of them ever have anything good to say about the Wildcats. I’m sure they’re both good people in real life, but neither has much love at all for the OR. Anything slightly negative concerning OR, they run with it.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. It ain’t as easy as hey, even though you’ve been a tenured teacher for however many years, we now have a guy that coaches football, which makes him more important than you, so you have to go since he’s a football coach!! Lol Life isn’t that simple.

I honestly don’t know, my friend. I don’t know what’s going on there. I’m completely out of the loop. Nobody wants OR football to succeed more than JG, so I couldn’t see him doing anything to keep that from happening. Maybe there aren’t any positions available? Those positions are at a premium, you know. And if all this is true that you’re saying (IF) it pretty much speaks for Coach Rang’s track record in his career. He’s gone from place to place, so it wouldn’t really surprise me if it is true, to be honest. I mean, he has zero ties to OR. I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now though.

Yeah, pretty wild. But life goes on. The older I get, the less important this stuff is to me.

So what’s that tell ya, if true? OR isn’t exactly the easiest place to attract talent to in today’s high school recruiting environment. We are at a total disadvantage, as far as that goes. Tried to tell you this before.

He was the QB at Robertsville, if I remember correctly. Would’ve been something. He had a cannon for an arm too. I can understand where Joe was coming from too, though, as talented as he was at WR.

They started tasting really good to me after my 2nd tall boy. Might’ve had sumn to do with it.
