I did forget to mention how bad the refs were in this game, both sides got bad calls.

North Side wins in Double-OT 84-80. Casey Prather had 41 points and 17 rebounds, it was a team effort by the Indians. Dyer County is good, but when North Side needed the big shots, they got them. North Side was down 6 at half, but they came out in the second half, OT, and Double-OT. This game is the best game I have ever been to, the atmosphere was crazy. GO INDIANS!!!!!

That's what my thought was when I looked at it. They should be in there over Bradford in my mind.

We are nearly in 2010 and how has your team done so far this season. Also let's hear what your predictions are for the rest of your team's season. My team, North Side, I believe has done what I thought they would do, undefeated so far, but the toughest part of their schedule comes up. They face Bolivar, Humboldt, and a region opponent in Bolton. I believe they will take their district and maybe make the region finals and have a chance at a state tournament berth. They will need to play their best basketball when it comes time.

I do hope that Lake Co. does play against North Side, the best team we've played so far is Liberty or Hardin County. Lake Co. would be a good game because they are almost the same kind of team, great speed, pressure defense, great scorers. Definitely the game you wanna see, But I believe Lake Co. can beat Liberty, you just need to play your style and run the floor and try to get the post players in foul trouble. Good Luck!

I think they should have scheduled Lake County and North Side on different sides of the brackets, so you would have your best game in the finals.

Lake County vs. Liberty 1 p.m. North Side vs. Covington 2:30 p.m. Poplar Bluff vs. USJ 4 p.m. Dyersburg vs. Munford 7 p.m.

That's great because North Side will get a team in Lake County that could put up a fight and make it a good game, most of North Side's wins have been lopsided.

Which Lake Co. has to try to ware down Jones and Miller with running up and down the court and they have to get at least one of them in foul trouble.

It's true, North Side plays a full-court press and a tough man-to-man defense, you don't want the game to be a track meet, cause North Side loves to push it. Liberty also has a good point guard in Keiona Kirby, but how big is Lake County, cause it'll be hard if you have a 5'8 player tryin to post up a 6'3 player.

Does anyone know the schedule for that, I know North Side is in it but do not know who they play.

North Side could be a team that goes into the region tournament undefeated or having 1 or 2 losses. They have, like GC has said, is extremely athletic with one of the best point guards in west tennessee in Jalita Fason. Don't look down on North Side cause they can state if they keep playin like they have.

The question is not if North Side can handle the pressure, but if Dyer County can handle North Side's full-court pressure, if not North Side will runaway with it.

Ok, so the Lady Indians are 3-0 entering this game. They are coming off two wins against inner-city rivals, Dyer County comes into this game 4-1, only loss to St. Benedict. Dyer County fans have been saying that the Lady Choctaws are way better than last year. This is North Side's first real away game, and it is tough going into Dyer County no matter who you are. My prediction is North Side wins 63-51 in this game. Any remarks?

That's very good, because that means a good game. North Side has started playing a half-court press, and these girls on North Side have some quick hands, they forced 37 turnovers against South Side. Should be a good game when the two meet.

Ok, so my prediction was completely WRONG! The Lady Indians looked so much better than i thought, granted it's South Side. Jalita Fason has proven me wrong, she was the best player on the floor, she drove the lane so much it looked like they let her go by. After the first quarter it was 27 to 0 North Side, North Side dominated and has showed goo signs, but let just see what happens when they play tougher competition.

I know this is not the biggest game on the schedule, but it's North Side's OPENING NIGHT! Now the past few years North Side has had trouble with South Side, but with what the Hawks have lost I predict a 65-38 win for the Lady Indians. This game will show if this is the year Jalita Fason and Jessica Cobb have breakout years, and may be the start of a good season.

North Side beat McGavock 63-41, the leading scorer was not Fason, but Jessica Cobb. She had 26 points and probably a lot of rebounds, also Monica Womack had 15, Alex Hill had 11, and Jalita only had 4. Some bad news is Summer Fitts injured her knee, not sure if she tore her meniscus or strained , but she'll be out for awhile.
