  1. Maybe Henry County isnt all there talked up to be because there is no way JPII should beat anybody. Beech takes this one and faces Hville in the second round. Henry County played terribly against a decent Clarksville team with a great athlete at QB. Henry County deserved to lose. Henry County was without their starting QB and their top LB who happened to be their leading tackler. They still only lost by five. They may not be "all they are talked up to be" but I can't remember them losing by 31 points to anyone in quite a while. Im just sayin and in out defense we played worse than terible against a really good hville team. I hope we can get a second rd match up with henry county, that would be a great game in my mind.
  2. Ill take a win, and this is a cool little website ive never seen before. I typed in a few scores from earlier in the season and they were way off so it can average the stats but cant acount for the effort or coaching on either side. But thanks for gettin all these scores together and posting them.
  3. Their fullback is pretty big around 6'2 240 i think hes pretty good and number 5 is a playmaker but besides those two im not really sure. Thats what ive seen on film and heard from the coaches
  4. wow. that's impressive. No a kicker that has only missed the endzone three times all year on kickoffs is impressive and number 21 Rigsby who is a head hunter on special teams, he's one of those crazy guys that runs at brick walls for the fun of it.
  5. I saw the Gallatin Mt. Juliet game and the Beech Mt. Juliet game.

  7. Well i hope you like being off the radar because that is where your gonna stay. Hendersonville is good I dont know about a blow out but if thier lineman come to play they will do what ever they want to you on offesnse and tell your offensive line good luck blocking 57 Joe Townsand (i think thats right) he was in our backfield all night he is a monster in the trenches. Good luck hville represent our district well.
  8. I still dont understand this as a first rd match up but it happens i guess. Ive heard a lot on here about Oaklands D and with that Dline and there stats im impressed. But at the same time ive seen the bears play twice this year an was impressed with thier offense. If the Bears D keeps the score low I think Gurchiek finds a way to win this one.
  9. I was watchin film today with some of the players and if Gallatins offense comes to play i think they can run through this defense. Most of the lineman play both ways so there either in great shape or will be gassed in the 4th. But maybe they had an off game if, NW saw our Hendersonville film they could easly say the same thing about us. NW does have a huge fullback that worries me but Logan Slagle (if injury free) is a monster at LB for us and i think he can handle him. Good luck to both teams. Gallatin 28 NW 10
  10. You pretty much hit the nail on the head. I dont know what team that was a Hendersonville but it wasnt the Gallatin that ive seen the previous 9 weeks. We will rarely be in he smokestack unless its muddy and raining. We will line up in mostly gun and run. We are pretty big up front but as you could have seen friday some off them can be lazy. Stewart Thompson had to step up and play both ways after out center went out and didnt do a bad job at all from what i saw. Our D is pretty good if they come to play. We have a 6'6'' reciever who we dont throw to enough in my mind. We do have a 6'5'' 380 guard who is a soph who keeps getting better. Tandem i dont like beech but i have to be honest I think the field conditions hurt yall more than it hurt us after seeing Beech play at Mt. Juliet. I was really impressed with them. We were lucky to leave with a win. Congrats on winning the district and good luck in the playoffs.
  11. 1 win in 7 yrs in the playoffs 0 for 3 myself, I hope we can turn it around this year and bounce back from a rough game. Good luck Gallatin
  12. Well i guess we should have brought our horse shoe tonite my hat is off to hendersonville they took it to us tonite. Rigger maybe lighten up on the smack talk given the situation it would be apprecitated, but good luck to hville in the playoffs.
  13. Maybe we will get lucky and this rain will somehow hold off and we can get a huge crowed there it gonna be a big game and im pumped up about it.
  14. congrats to beech your offense played great tonite good luck in the playoffs Bears way to keep fighting keep your heads up and good luck in the playoffs
  15. Gunright my apologizes about the 3A comment i guess i need to do somemore homework before i say somthing like that im glad you pointed that out to me. Good luck to portland tonite. I hope they can get better in the next few years. I just hope not good enought to beat Gallatin
  16. I like this guy getting people fired up. I wish Hville would build bigger visitor side bleachers then it would be great. And i agree I wish we did have a better stadium it was built in (correct me if im wrong) the 30s maybe earlier and the field is getting a bit torn up, we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on our weight room Indoor sports facilites and locker room and not a dime on the stadium. It is probly time we do somthing about that. I like the hililles joke im used to hearing we were all druggies and ghetto so thats refreshing to hear.
  17. Ive seen the Panther Defense or lack there of and sorry but there is nothing hard nosed about it. I hate it for those guys because they werent that competive in the old 3a and now that there in 5a they dont stand a chance with the big boys in sumner county (not that sumner county is the best please nobody take that the wrong way) but hopfully they can rebound next year and win a few cause i dont see them winning this one. Did you really just say that portland wasnt competive in 3a. you must not know much they went to the state three times in a 6 year span yea your right they wasnt competive. Portland has 1030 kids in there school compared to all the other schools in there regoin its kinda whop sided. Now you sound like one of us bragging about our state titles. Yes portland was competive in the early 2000s but in the last few yrs in 3A how many games did they win that was the point I was making. I also said it is kind of unfair they have to play up with bigger schools, so im not trying to dog on Portland im just pointing out facts.
  18. It would be nice to see another District 9 team make it but odds are against it but if the tailback lebanon has is coming back next year i would say next year will be good for you he was allusive and quick and could break one at anytime. good luck to Lebanon in trying to make the playoffs.
  19. No hard feelings at all I hope the panthers do get better I played for Sanders at Gallatin I hope he turns it around up there and yall can beat up on Station Camp Beech and Hville in the near future.
  20. nothin better than people gettin all fired up on coach T. Look at my post i said that you are having a hard time in 5A and you will untill you adapt to playing with bigger schools facts of life we still can't beat a williamson county team to save our lives. So chill out and dont brag about your hard nosed defense and then try and make excuses for losing.
  21. Ive seen the Panther Defense or lack there of and sorry but there is nothing hard nosed about it. 22. Id rather watch a game on a rainy friday night than a dry thursday night anyday. And as much as i hate hendersonville I have to give them props on a nice field ive played on it twice in rainy situations and both times it has held up well, the sidlines is a different story though.
  23. Well i guess my beech Gallatin post lit a fire under some people but we can all go tour the schools and compare facilites later. But more importantly i think Mt. juliet takes this one beech was impressive ill give them that but Mt. Juliet was more impressive and that was 8 weeks ago compared to 2 weeks ago. Good luck Reed Gurchiek and the rest of the bears im rootin for you to cap of an undefeated season.
