  1. Every one on the team can be replaced if necessary, now it's time for the bakups to show what they can do. I have compleet confidence in the next group of starters. nothing like baptism by fire get the boys on the field and show em what real Bulldog pride is like. See ya at the Dogpound.
  2. All I know for sure is this is going to be one heck of a game, always has been. My departed Dad went to Cloudland in the early 50's, Mom went to Hampton as did I and most of the rest of the Family. Got family playing now and will have for the next 4 if all goes well. this year has been amazing for both teams but I do expect Hampton to win it, But then again I always expect Hampton to beat all thier opponents as they do quite often. I will be there as usual and will be heard from the stands. I have always thought of Cloudland like a brother team, We can mess with them whenever we want however no one else can else I'll be all over them. Look forward to a good game dogs by a few, I won't predict how many. Always a good battle.
  3. Agreed on the Bubblewrap we need him for playoffs. also ifpossible we need to give the young ones as much playing time as winning allows. you never know when one of the standard bearers will get caught and be out for a few plays or even a game. We got some good looking kids in the backup positions. I think they are up to playing as much as is asked of them. Go for it dogs 2 till playoffs, Both count in the final totaland we can't overlook any of them. See ys st the Dog Pound Gang.
  4. Hey I hope this isn't true but I'm sure we would like conformation if it is.either way I will be wherever the dogs are. If They go to Hancock so will I, if not I stay home. no one else I wanna go see. I hate if the boys dob't get to play I to believe it is not good to have a week off after season starts. Kinda like a car, It's better to use it than leave it in the driveway. not good for any part of it.
  5. OK Guys time to go watch the Dogs do thier thing this week. see everybody at the Dogpound. GO DOGS!!!
  6. No one got anything to say about this week. I'll get us started by saying I'm looking forward to another successful outing in the DogPound this week. The boys have a good start now let's support them with a full house this week.
  7. Hey Old Eagle I wasn't sating anything except the display should have ended a lot earlier and was not a good example for the boys. Reason for the outburst may have been seen But in most of the late hit problems it is handled by the officials, I was just setting where I could hear the Official thll him OFF THE FIELD 3 times and he refused to go. Unless I'm mistaken when told by an Official to leave don't the game rules and common deciency say go some where, shut up, and calm down. I really hope to see Cosby in the future this year. they have some really good kids although they didn't seem to interested on the sidelines talking to thier buddies, but that is kids. Sorry for the missunderstanding but I always believe a good clean game is the best game, no one gets hurt and everyone envolved has a good time. See you in the Dog Pound.
  8. Was there doing my usual and posting to CoactT scores during the game. Dogs looked good tonight like they were hungry for a big win. Was a little disappointed at the attitude of some Eagles staff.one was told to leave the field by one of the officials and refused to do it, Bad example for his players. Hate to say anything negative about the game but I was embarrassed for the team we were playing against. Hope the rest of the season goes better for them. I'll reserve other comments for a different time. Way to go Dogs good win, Looking forward to 8 more before playoffs.
  9. Getting the Poncho and Umbrella ready for a wet night Friday, But I plan on smiling all the way home. Hamptons' got a dead eye Quarterback and a couple of good receivers as well as a couple of hard running backs. If we get the defense to do what I know they can we should have this one cold. However if PENALTIES get heavy it could cause trouble for all involved. Any official can find something on every play if he wants. Careful boys I'm screaming for you.
  10. OK Dogs, time to get this season underway. I plan on making the trek down to the nest and I expect our boys to come out on top of this battle, It looks to be a hard road and we haven't had home team advantage yet but I see a win in the future real soon. Be in the stands yelling for the bast. Go Dogs.
  11. Was there as usual last night and like has been said before, When you go to JC you plan on playing the 11 guys on the field plus 1 or 2 officials. Makes it a hard team to beat. TSSAA should be sure no local officials call any local game, makes for to much possible conflict. Good Job Dogs I'll be following you to the Nest next week.
  12. See you at the Game guys. Time for the Dogs to get off the porch and run down the Horns. Go Dogs!!
  13. Don't look past JC they have a nasty past habit of trying to injure good players early and the officials seem to only look in one direction, watch what you do Boys and play your best, win should be easy however watch yer ***. see you there.
  14. :smile:Looks like everybody is on the same page. If we can get the players there it should be in the bank, however The Longhorns are going to be out for blood and I expect a sloberknocker on the field. Our boys will have to keep thier head in the game in case they have to beat both the other team and the officials and not get into penality trouble. I figure HHS by 6.
  15. Good job to both teams tonight. Hampton gave it their all, Some will say Officiating had something to do with it I saw mistakes go both ways, they can't see everything, Others will claim total dominance, Not true. As I have said any team can beat any other on any given day just wasn't the Dogs Day. Better luck next time. For the Tigers I hope you can win State at least then the team that put us out was the State champs, For the Dogs you Seniors have given us a season to be proud of and we are, Underclassmen your challenge is to do better in your year. Hampton has been Division champs most of the last several years nothing to be ashamed of our day will come. Keep working on it we have just as good programs as the rest of the state has, the best is yet to come.
  16. Don't get on here much. All I know is both teams are ready for a good game of Football, I know Hampton is practicing Hard. I also know Rockwood is to. When it comes down to it the team that plays the best will win the game, I do & always have pulled for the Bulldogs ( Class of 73) as every Dog knows Low pad wins and you don't get lower the the dogs on the line. I have to say I see Dogs by 6 and I hope to have a new sign in Carter county saying home of the 2009 State football champs HHS and EHS think it would be great to have both and show what East Tennessee Football has always been about. .... GO DOGS..........
  17. Guys I don't have all the info but we all know any team can win on any given day. I have been a dawg fan since I started playing as a freshman on the 69 team. If this team plays up to thier potential I don't see them loosing, they have both the Talent and the coaching staff, A good week of practice and the proper attitude and they will get the job done. Never count the Dogs out in the Dog Pound.
