Warren County has struggled this year to find its rhythm on offense and defense. Our kicking game is plum awful and although we might have more players then Moore co, we probably have them same or even less athletes than you do.

The problem with warren county sports is parents truly believe that if you ever played high school football or coached your son in pee wee football then you know more than the high school coach. These are the facts.

I don't like the way this one is shaping up. The jets have scored a bunch of points and the pioneers have scored only 7. We have a lot of starters that are out because of injury and freshmen playing. I hope they take it easy on us! But I bet our band shows up and does a good job.

Just sayin..I think the band has scored and can score more than this team can.

I think we should just shut athletics down and focus our money on the arts(band)!

Coach Madewell had a very good off season and summer program in place during his tenure so don't think this is something new for the kids. The problems have been administration and those old farts are gone. New beginnings are a good thing.

OMG!!!!!!!! You don't know who the greatest running back in high school history is?????? He was coached by the greatest high school coach,BOBBY NEWBY!!!! These are the standards to which all coaches and players are to compare themselves to. You should bow at the names of these heroes and know that football in WC will never compare to that era.

They played better tonight but special teams killed them. We don't have a kicker and returners can't hold on to the ball. Receivers need to buy the QB dinner or something. How many balls can you drop in a game???? Defense is young and lacks size in key areas. Seniors..... we have NO senior leadership and only 1 or 2 are on the field playing. With no leadership and young players it's a rebuilding year for the Pioneers. We have been rebuilding for a long time.

So to those making the trip to beautiful Evensville tonight, sit back, relax, and prepare to watch some offensive fireworks at one of the greatest venues in East Tennessee. Wow! I thought we were playing a 4-5 Rhea Co not Maryville.

I think it breaks down to where you finish in the district. 6 5 4 3 2 So figure out where you finish and that's how many you get.

If the coaches had played the current starters at the beginning of the season, the record would be a lot better. These seniors have proven they can play since they were freshmen to. The freshmen experience has not payed off this year and I hate that the seniors have had to suffer because of it. Northcutt, Thrower, Rhea, Martin and of course Mt Cody have led this team this year.

Although this year has been a big disappointment for the Pioneers, I do think they show up for their last game together and make this one closer than people think.

Lincoln County and Rhea County will be tough games. We have played Lincoln county better the last couple of years but have not been able to pull off the victory. Rhea county is getting better each week so we will have our hands full.

Crossville will win this one if they can stay away from the yellow flag fever. Coffee has not shown very much since week 3.

This game is for 1st place in the district. Pioneers are starting to get it together and look to beat Cookeville for the 3rd time in a row(I know we lost last year but we really dominated them all over the field). What's your opinion on this week?

Great article today in the Southern Slander about Caleb Northcutt. He is 4th all time in rushing with a shot to be 2nd by the end of the year. Great player and great kid.

Bring him to Warren County!!! We have an excellent coaching staff with plenty of NFL experience. WC is building for the future and would love to have some talent come on over.

Are you saying that we were better last year? We had a offense that avg 30 pts a game!! Sometimes karma hits hard at those who deserve it.

White county seems to be on a roll and Warren County is struggling to find some rhythm. This is fair week in Warren County so that might play into the focus of players this week. What's everybody's take on this weeks game?

Game time looks to be wet tonight. Who does this favor and why?

Wc defense is giving up about 30 per game and the offense is only scoring about 12. If we are going to win this, the defense has got to start playing up front and not relying on the safety's to make all the tackles. I like the direction that the offense is going but I'm afraid it's going to be a long road trip.

Wc needs to show some defense or its going to be hard to win any game.

I kinda feel sorry for all the lineman at CC. Cody's not going to know which guy it is talking all this crap and he will dominate all of them. Mashum up real good. Then agian, no i don't feel sorry for them. Kill'em all!!!!!!!
