I tried hard to spell it. If you had as many concussions as I've had you would have a hard time also. When I played concussion protocol was if you could remember the plays you went back in!
I bet you were a beast in your day Croppy.

You are pretty quiet on the Comer hiring.
What you think of it?Good hire. Comer is a great guy and really good coach. But there is a reason we can’t keep a good coach. Unless some things change at Milan High School we will be in this same position in a few years.

Dyersburg probably had 3 D1 potential players on the court, Upperman zero. Probably too many beers when u made this post!
Two of them, Joya Crawford and Chelby Jordan do have D1 offers. The freshman, Kay Kay Strayhorn will have some come. She may end up being the best of the 3.

First smart thing Milan has done in years. Great coach but I don't know if he's enough of a disaplinarion as Milan needs right now. Things pretty rough in Milan these days!
I see spelling is not a strong suit in Huntingdung…

There was a Middleton team that went 37-0 that was pretty darn tough.

Thank you. Our radio announcer has been calling games for Dyersburg High School for 41 years. Last night was only the second state title game he had called over that stretch. He finally called a state championship. And to be able to sit beside him and hear the call was a moment I will never forget.
I enjoyed hearing the girl sing the anthem before the game. She had a great voice. I bet her parents are very proud of her. Lol.

A couple of quick comments...
1) The Lady Trojans were hammered by food poisoning. Four players and two coaches were sick. To pull this one off under the circumstances was unbelievable.
2) As I left the arena the Upperman bus was on the lot near the gathering of Dyersburg fans. When the Lady Trojans exited the Murphy Center, Upperman cheered and blew their bus horns in celebration of the first state title for Dyersburg. I mentioned earlier that I stayed in the Upperman team hotel this week. I have so much respect for your coach, staff, and student athletes. They were incredible ambassadors for your school and community.
I see you been churning the late night oil on social media. Lol.

How does that work? Do you have one? If so can you message me?
You make a yearly donation in an amount of your choosing to the website. It will expire after a year. I usually have one but mine expired a few days ago and I haven’t renewed it yet.

There are always two sides to every story and the truth falls somewhere in the middle. Sources are only worth the picture they’re trying to paint. If you talk to someone who is Milan through and through their story will be Milan is amazing etc. If you talk to the last three coaches who have stayed 2 years a piece then you get a different story. Probably truth on both sides.
I’m as Milan thru and thru as you can get and my story is definitely not Milan is amazing. Lots of positives but we definitely have our baggage. You are correct. Definitely truth on both sides.

Technical fouls helped out also. Last night the officials and book keeper did a horrible job. I’m sure Southside coach was mentally disturbed. I’m telling you cchs will live at the free throw line tonight, they will win by 3. Cchs will have the lead all game long
Where you at homegirl?? Come back and eat you some crow. Lol.

I’m shocked that SGC beat Dyersburg. If Upperman rebounds well and handles the ball pressure they will add another gold ball to the trophy case. Coach Mcwilliams and her team has done a masterful job, preparing the team for their opponents. The girls have executed the game plans to perfection.
I have mentioned this a few times already but I don’t think specifically to you. When Sout Gibson beat Dburg it was without their best player Joya Crawford. She is a junior already committed to Cincinnati. It would be like someone beating York without Beaty.

The lady red beat upperman earlier in the year. I feel like they can play with anyone. Dyersburg lost to south Gibson. The lady red and south Gibson have a common opponent mercy ky. Cchs beat them by 7, south Gibson beat them by 9. Im very confident in the lady red tonight they will shoot a lot of free throws.I predict Cchs vs Upperman for the title tomorrow.
2 things here. Dyersburg’s best player was out with a knee injury when they lost to South Gibson. She is a D1 athlete committed to Cincinnati. With her in the lineup they have beaten South Gibson every other time.
Also, Cocke Co lost to South Side earlier in the year in a tournament. The same South Side Dyersburg just eliminated.

This is true. There is and always will be East biased in any voting situation in the state. I live in the west and dont know anything about the top East TN teams other than what I read and the sports writers from one side of the state to the other doesn’t either. There is simply no reason to not broadcast it live for everyone to see. It’s not difficult at all to do. A small group doing anything behind closed doors when it is going to affect a large group is always going to raise eyebrows
I agree with you. A live draw is the way to go. And it would benefit the Mustank fans to see it live since most can’t read to know what happens…

If your goal is to win 20 or so games each year Dodgen is your man. If you want to make it to the glass house every once in a while especially if you have the best team. Remains to be seen. That does appear to be acceptable with alot of people.
But they don’t have the best team… that’s why they will be sitting at home this week.
