Penalties are part of the game.  I love you excuse makers.  (We were the better team we just couldn't score...got too many penalties...they scored more etc)

I think we all know penalties are part of the game. I wasn’t making an excuse I was simply stating the obvious. You were making an excuse when you said Dresden choked. I just pointed out my point of view. Sorry I hurt your feelings general.

I am not saying you're wrong about Riverside or even how the game might go, but ER and Groves are legit. I have seen a bunch of teams up and down the state. Huntingdon is one you West guys love to salivate about. They were pathetic in their last game. Dresden choked bigtime last week against what I will still say is an overrated McKenzie team. Moore if healthy beats their eyes shut.  Groves just averages 4-7 yards a carry and breaks 2-3 for 50+ each.

I was at the Dresden vs McKenzie game. Dresden didn’t choke. McKenzie was clearly the better team. Dr Aden was up 14-0 at the half cause McKenzie couldn’t stop shooting themselves in the foot. Too many penalties. They got that under control and the half and the game was over. I don’t know anything about Moore and Groves so you are probably correct. But McKenzie would beat Dresden 9 times out of 10.

If Milan had a middle school team worth watching, you be talking about them too.

Middle school football is important but the wins and losses are not. When I was in 8th grade my middle school football team in Milan went 1-6. Fast forward to my senior year we were 13-2 and state champs. Same kids. Just improved.  What you learn and how you improve along the way is far more important than the wins and losses at the time.

York was still a good ball team. They coulda kept it close if not have won the game if they didn’t have so many 15 yard penalties to go along with the amount of turnovers they had. They drove the ball well all game and had that touchdown with a minute left that East went down and scored on to make it 21-7 at half. If they didn’t fumble twice and mange their clock poorly in the first half who knows what coulda happened.

I don’t have a dawg in this fight but that’s a whole lot of ifs you just mentioned. Truly good football teams don’t have that many ifs.

I mean yeah but they didn’t have a tough schedule.  He should have ran over York. They looked like a middle school team. If that’s any indication of the rounds prior I’m not impressed.

You gotta watch talking about middle school football. Croppy will be in here soon making you think middle school is almost professional ball. Lol.

It's meaningless now but if it's the same play Michael Odom was talking about on Twitter he said it was incomplete. Said a cameraman got a pic and the ball hit the ground. Idk

I was a good 50 yards away so I didn’t have the greatest view. Kid laid out and got ball firmly between both hands. Looked like he pulled it into his body and fell. Appeared he had control but don’t know what happened after he hit the ground. Could have come loose.

  7. That was a fantastic game to watch. Complete tale of 2 half’s. McKenzie just couldn’t get out of their own way in the first half. One mistake after the other. Once they got styled down they couldn’t be stopped. McKenzie was so multiple on offense. When Surber got hot Dresden could do nothing with him. 2 great teams. Hats off to Dresden on a great season. Good luck next week Rebels.
