  1. I still can't get over how cocky & loud mouthed some of the Milan fans are, I am so looking foward to seeing Alcoa wear the darn ground out with you all....... I hate blow hards & braggards, do you think getting on here and saying noboby can beat us/ were number 1 means a hill of beans to the outcome of this game? Alcoa puts as many as it wants on Milan & shuts you idiot fans up once & for all!!!

Blah Blah Blah. Wah Wah Wah. No one else has those kinds of fans. It is just those losers from Milan. (sarcasm obviously) I would imagine that you were probably one of those kinds of fans with your own team. I for one have not heard any Milan fan say that we can't be beat, but if you expect any of us to concede a game before it is even gameday then you my friend are crazy.

I agree with you huf! Bledsoe Co. Warrior can attach a quote just like anyone else. So if there is a Milan fan on coach T saying "nobody can beat us", all you have to do is attach it to the quote!

  2. You guys (Milan) better play better defense because there wasn't any against York on Friday night. You play like you did against us you will get beat by 4 touchdowns by halftime. Then, again you might be safe since alcoa doesnt throw it much because you guys could not I repeat could not stop the pass. Alcoa may not have to throw it though if they run over you like they do everybody else.Your defensive line better get more physical and aggressive.Just sayin............................[/quo

I thought York only scored 15 points? Milan must have stopped something.

  3. I don't think milan has the team to beat alcoa, from what I saw in the york- milan game last night, milan has a good running game but not much else. Their corners seem abit soft their not use to hitting and getting run over. I think the team is to use to playing in the cotton fields I saw, because every time york ran and hit them they where getting an shaking their head. ALCO will crush them 48-0.

Who's york gonna crush this friday night? :o

  4. Come on.... R U serious! It was 43-15. Does it look like they had any trouble with YORK. I mean you guys beat Elizabethton by less than we beat York. Must mean ya'll are in big trouble!! :roflol:

Lets be honest about it. Everybody saw the game last year. Neither team turns the ball over alot. Both teams love to pound the rock. It will not be a high scoring game. I'm not saying milan will win and I'm not saying Alcoa will win. But didn't Toney play running back last year. Didn't Avery have 22 tackles last year. Mostly the same cast of characters back this year.

Anybody who thinks this game is going to be a blow out either way is an idiot!

Milan may have done the same...........but Alcoa pulled the starters to save them for the championship game. The 3's with a freshman FB, and RB scored the last TD. The third team defense gave up the only score for Betsy late in the fourth qtr............That game could have been 48-0 easy. A lot tougher challenge the week!

I hoped people would see the sarcasm in that post. I don't guess you caught it. My point was that a score (halftime or final) doesn't indicate future performance of a team, Alcoa or Milan.

  5. ..I do beleive that the game was held up twice while the dawgs got players off the field.
    :roflol:

LOL you know your not worth a reply to your post ..... to the milan football players that were hurt I wasn't throwing a cheap shot at you and I do hope that you have a speedy recovery. I would not wish hurt and pain on you or any other child..... I was only on here to state that our boys played great football against you and was not pounded as stated...As for the trip home it was great the boys came to Milan to play in the semi finals and thats what they did ..no bruised ego here...Have a safe trip and I hope you have a great game friday night......

How can you say you weren't throwin a cheap shot? I know you may not have meant to come off like that but it did. You opened your mouth and said it, nobody made you do it. There is no doubt that this year's YORK team was a special team. I'm sure they were out every day before school started lifting weights and doing 2 a days in 100 degree weather. Obviously they worked hard. But guess what, Milan did too!!

For you to get on here and take pride in the fact that your guys injured two over our players and somehow that means you guys fought a hard game is real classless. You can play hard and hit hard but you never take pleasure in some getting hurt and thats exactly how your post came off. Why don't you go back and read it again and ask yourself if you were one of those kids that got injured how your post would make them feel. You should be ashamed!!!

  6. York fans....we might indeed bring back the silver ball, but nothing will change the fact

that you guys drove four hours and got pounded by 30 pts. Get over it, you got beat

by a better team and you're not playing next week. Now you guys can concentrate

    on squirrel hunting and basketball.

the funny thing is you guys are fixing to do the same thing you are going to drive 4 hours and probably wont even put up a fight in the first half but i will be there cheering for alcoa

OMG!! blah,blah,blah....you sound like a second grader...I for one enjoyed the drive down...our boys played a great game...and by no means were the dragons pounded...it may have been a 28 point ballgame in favor of the Milan dawgs(just alittle math correction for you) but our boys made the dawgs work for it... they didn't just hand it over..I do beleive that the game was held up twice while the dawgs got players off the field..I hope you guys enjoy the drive up to the game and hope that taking home the silver doesn't make you feel like you wasted you time driving up to be steam rolled by ALCOA!!! Because I do believe Alcoa will have a 28 point lead on the dawgs before the first quarter with little effort....

R U Serious!!! Are you proud that two Milan players were injured and had to be carried off the field??? Who many Milan fans posted on last weeks game that they hoped you guys had a safe trip down and the game (your players included) was injury free! If you don't know go back and look it was ALOT!

I know you may not like the other poster's comments and you think he is talking like a second grader and he very well may be, but for you to take pride in the fact that two KIDS got hurt and had to be carried off the field is classless. I hope you feel like you guys really accomplished something!!

  7. Antwan, obviously they have great language teachers in carthage. Too bad that ya'll are not as good at teaching football. Now that you guys are sitting at home on Friday nights you should have lots more time to crack open a grammar book.

By the way, my team played tonight. And they will be playing next week as well. Hope your studying goes well next Friday. I'll be thinking about you from Cookeville....NOT!!!! :thumb:

  8. Wow all this talk about open zone. The last time I checked there's nothing wrong with that in our county. Our administrators in this county don't want to limit our kids on where they can go to school. That's why the private schools have grown so much in this state in the last 20 years. Parents want their kids to get a good education. Alcoa offers that and they have an awesome football tradition.

As for this game, Milan is in deep trouble if they had problems with York in the first half. Alcoa's going to pound the rock on the Bulldogs and there's nothing they can do about it. This game will be close for a half and then Alcoa will put it away in the second. I expect the F5 to touchdown about 4-6 times on friday. Milan will be fortunate to put up more than 14 points. Of course this is just my opinion and we will have to wait until friday to find out. GO TORNADOES !!

  9. Quick ???.....Does either of these teams or Knox Grace have a snowball's chance of beating the beast that is South Pittsburg ??.....

Not really interested in the "one game at a time" garbage (That's for players and coaches)...Just asking the question....Is winning this game as far as Wayne County or Union City can expect to get ??...

You've got to be kidding. UC vs. Milan or UC vs. Alcoa would be a game to watch.

LOL.... Union City would get DESTROYED by both!!!

  10. Just wanted to wish our DRAGONS the best of luck tomorrow. We know that you will represent the "mountain" well.

Take the good o'le smash mouth, mountain football to West TN and leave nothing in the locker room. Just know that all us mountain folk are pulling for you to punch the dawgs in the mouth and come out with a hard fought WIN.

    Updated prediction;

    YORK: 24

    MILAN: 21

No way York will score 21 unless it is on the 2nd defensive unit.

    GO DRAGONS!!

I meant to say 24 and GO BULLDOGS!!!

  12. WarriorNation, you predicted 42-35 :roflolk: These two teams gave the fewest amount of points of any 3a teams in the regular season. Milan led 3a giving up 76pts. and York only gave up 83. How can you predict such a high scoring game. And besides york is only averaging scoring a little over 20pts a game. How do you expect them to score double their average against the #1 defense in 3a? I expect a low scoring game.....at least from York.

  13. Milan-

Great game yall. Yall have a great team and I wish yall the best of luck against York. I'll be wearing purple next week at ole Johnnie Hale. Coming into this game I knew yall were good, but yall proved to me just how good yall are. Best of Luck to Avery Williamson it's been fun watching him over the past few seasons. Now Milan keep taking it one game at a time, and GO GET THAT GOLD BALL!!!

    My beloved LIons-

IT is probably some of the best times watching yall play your hearts out against the teams like Milan. At the start of the season no one gave them a chance, but yall worked your butts off and proved everyone wrong. I never doubted these young men at Camden, and I beleived they had a shot at going to Cookeville. This team is young and many of them have a long and bright history in front of them in this sport. I can't wait to see Blackburn, White, Easley, Murphy, Riley, and all the other young Camden standouts in the years to come. As long as the Lions have young men like these mentioned they will continue the tradition of winning.

    The Lions Senior Class:

IT was honor playing with you boys in 2007, and it was an even greater joy to watch yall grow up and play this game that yall love so much. This is a graduating cass that will be dearly missed. They leave Camden football continuing winning traditions and leave a legacy that the whole community, school, and the Players themselves can be proud of. THis is the first time that Camden has made it to the Quarters since 2005. Do not hold your heads down, yall hold your heads up high and walk proud. As bad as it hurts Coach Ward was right "The sun is going to come up," and I pray that the Lord will bless all of you seniors lives in all you do. Parents of Camden LIons tell your young men, THanks for all the practice, hard work, blood sweat, and tears... THey'll never know how much it means.

Parents of Camden Lions tell your boys How proud I am of them. Tell them Bruizer said it, they'll know who you mean.

well spoken ctown. your a class act!

  14. I do not think milan has seen a defence like YORK has they are hard hitting mouth smashing gang tackling defence. The defence for YORK will win this game for them, and the will have the fire in them that i saw at goodpasture. So milan get ready to get hit you will get to see one the smallest but toughest nose guards in Tenn. just ask the QB for smith co. as he tackle him to end the game. GO DRAGONS BEAT THOSE little doggies. :roflolk:

I am sure that York's defense has looked good against the opponents that they have played. But lets be honest. Milan's gonna show you guys what a real defense looks like this coming Friday. Their gonna have the York Dragons looking like the Geico Gekkos by halftime!!! lol :thumb:

  15. Just under 24 hours till Kickoff, now let's get the real talkin started yall. This game is gonna be all out nuts, with two great teams playin for the everything on the line. No longer just braggin rights, I been thinking about this game since Week One, and now oh my stars its just around the corner. GO BIG BLACK!!!! All you Camden fans SHOW YOUR LION PRIDEEEE!!!!!

    a agree ctownfootball!

lets start really talkin about this amazing game! i know ill be there! its gonna be a heckuva game!

lets go lion fans! STAND UP AND SHOW YOUR LION PRIDE!!!!!!! woot woot!

Hey ctown, I think you are obviously a great fan and the majority of the Camden fans probably are as well. However, I have a bad memory of some Camden fans from last year's regular season game.

There were so many Milan fans that some had to sit on the home side because that was all of the available seating. Well I and my family were some of the hundred or so Milan fans that sat on the Camden side.

Some idiots decided that when theses Milan fans would cheer for their team that they would be funny and throw bottles and anything else that they could get their hands at them. I know because some of them were thrown at my Mother-in-law and she was setting right beside me.

It doesn't make any sense. They should be happy that too many Milan fans drove to Camden and there wasn't enough seating. They got all the gate money from these fans. The majority of the Camden fans were very nice and showed great hospitality. And I hope both teams' fans come out and cheer on their teams to play and amazing game . I just hope that these few bottle throwing brain surgeons stay in Camden tomorrow night and that ALL of the Milan fans show you guys the same gracious hospitality that the majority of the Camden fans showed us last year.

  16. Hey bcsportsfan..... don't let the dawg44 get you riled up. We have some over zealous Milan fans just like I'm sure you guys do.

Seriously, Milan has alot of respect for what you guys have accomplished. And I don't do alot of posting on here so what I'm about to say probably doesn't carry much weight with you, but this milan team is on another level than last year's team.

I know you follow Alcoa football real close and I respect your opinion on them, but if these two teams meet again, it should be a better game than last year. Can't wait!!! :thumb:

  17. Hopefully Coleman isn't coming back to early. Did something change from his earlier prognosis? Hopefully he can be used sparingly in this game but Camden has been the real deal all year. Haven't seen them but the folks on their board have been very optimistic all year. Disappointed that their qb got hurt. Milan definitely needs to be playing teams that allow them to play four quarters to be prepared for future games. I hope this isn't a trap game for the Dawgs as it would be easy to lose focus especially with the Camden injuries and the GP upset.

I would like to know if anything with his prognosis has changed too. He definetly is a kid with a bright future and I would hate to see him spoil his future by coming back too early.

Having said that, I just don't see Milan losing focus in this game. This is the most focused and determined bulldog team I have seen in a long time. And no disrespect to Camden because they have a fine football team, but just don't think they are ready for what they are going to get at Johnnie Hale next Friday! :thumb:

  18. I agree with BullDawgGirl.... Milan having not played a full four quarters in a while is definetly not a good thing. I think back to an '03 team that was in the same boat and it came back to bite them in the semi's against Huntingdon. However, I think this team is mentally sound and has all the tools.

    Milan-42 :thumb:

    Camden-21
