They wish they could slow it down on Elizabethton. They will only get one shot, then Robinson will get the rebound and the twin Marosites will hit their 3's. Robinson got 17 rebounds against GP and they had two of the tallest girls in the state on there team. That girl can jump out of the gym.

I can tell you that the games will go on no matter what. If you team can't make it, I bet they will give the win to the other team and move on. Baring a power outage I bet they will play them under candles. Better be there.

Here in Elizabethton is a pretty good place to watch a girls basketball game. Usually it's the team that has not been there that has the pressure. This is our girls 3rd trip. Kayla Marosites scored 30 points there in her first game as a freshman two years ago. They have won over 50 games in a row. When GP made a charge with their very good slice and dice guard driving and was scoring 2 points at a time, she was calmly sinking 3's. Somehow that math never equals a win. These girls never lost a game from 6th grade to highschool and only 8 games in highschool with another year to play. We know who the pressure is really on.

Looks like there will be no battle of undefeated teams in the TN state tournament. CPA lost tonight making Elizabethton the only undefeated AA team.

I said not this year, not not this season. 2015. No one had scored more that 45 points Chuckey Doak scored 45.

Elizabethtons speed is deceptive they know how to move to cut off the passing lanes. that is drilled into them everyday not many teams have been able to break their pressure.

Elizabethton will start pressing GP as soon as they hit Carter County while still on the bus. Some teams have broken their press this year but it takes so much effort they get out of rhythm and miss their shots. if you press Elizabethton that's just what they want you to do because it leaves so many people open and they don't miss their shots, it's very hard to doubleteam 5 people.and the ones coming off the bench are very good.

The point guard for GP was the same point guard that played for Fulton against us in the state championship game last year. She moved to GP.

Fulton and Gp play tomorrow night we play the loser.

If Elizabethton wins Monday they will play the winner of Westview and Haywood Thu March 5 at 3:45 In Murfreesboro. The next game would be Friday at 6:00 and then Saturday at 7:00. Good luck Cyclones.
