NO one needs to go tell that to the coach's face....that is ridiculous. But I do agree the coach has all the right to decide how he does or does not schedule. And he really has no reason to explain it to anyone. On the other hand, fans have the right to question and ask for what they would like to see as well, while understanding that it is unlikely to change any time soon. The truth is the current path has worked just fine based on results. It is the coaches choice and right obviously and nobody can argue with his success. In fact it is a compliment to his program that people want to see this match-up so badly. But it is the fans right as well to talk about it or ask for it.

if people would have stopped beating dead horses there wouldnt be much change in the world. Women would still not be voting, minorities wouldnt have any rights, ecttt.. Are these issues the same? Of course they arent but the point is the same. Our sport is suffering across the nation and we need to generate some interest. I cant think of anything that would create as much interest as a Bradley/Baylor matchup. (sorry Father Ryan). This match up is bigger than Bradley doesnt want to wrestle. Its about pleasing the ardent fans of our sport and creating interest and excitement like has never been known before. Imagine how many people would show up. Wow, what a fund raiser this could be for charity. Lets be honest and this is spoken from experience and first hand knowledge. All good schools recruit in some form or another. If my memory serves me correctly, Bradley jump started this wave of success with quite a few transfers from Red Bank many years ago. Schools recruit themselves, programs recruit themselves with their success, parents and alumni recruit. Bottom line is sometimes we have to sometimes do what is better for the greater good. The fans would love to see the match-up coach and it would be tremendous for our sport that is in need of a boost. How many Bradley kids have left to go to Baylor? I dont know of any off the top of my head.

I think that some bully made the word up right before some big brother pulled a baseball bat out and popped him upside his head. If you choose not to wrestle some team is that cowardness? chattcity no way I could leave this earth without finding out who you are, so my young-un is back on the mat , for that reason only If the D2 division is the JV division then why did your lovely "GREEN IRISH" not schedule the purple irish this year after Simpson took his motley crew to Chattanooga for a dual last season? Don't give the company line of the schedule was full as everyone knows who was running!! I was told as a young child that you cannot ever trust someone that claims to be Irish and wears green! If Howie had any guts he would not have allowed "you know who" to go back on their word and forced the dual to take place. I dont have any inside knowledge on this topic and I dont like to call people cowards but there is no room in this sport for running. it seems to me that the green vs purple would be a yearly thing. That would be like my beloved Volunteers and Alabama not playing football.

I'm gonna question that one. For sure on the #2's what are you questioning? maybe my mumbo jumbo didnt make sense. i think div II/ private / jv/ All American division has the super studs. I think the #2's in the state are about equal. Sometimes private div is better and sometimes public is better. i think #3-6 for the most part is all public school due to the large #'s of kids. obviously there are exceptions to everything but as a whole thats my opionion.

yes, the jv division clearly has the super elite usually. I would venture to say if you lined up state champ vs state champ in a dual the jv err..... all american division would win every year. That being said, the public division clearly has more depth in #3-6 and sometimes #2 is better.

I have sat on the sideline for many a year. Watching, reading and laughing at the antics of some of the posters. I must admit I really enjoy the ones who lay it out there and arent scared to say what they feel. I have been somewhat dissappointed in the posts so far this year. Im sure bearcat will amuse us with his charm before long but where are the trouble makers? Where are keefjams and bucklateral? They always tell it like it is? Where are my favorites of all time, grappler, cupcake and vasdeferens(sp?)? What is even more funny than their antics is the reaction they get out of people. I honestly think there were some grown men crying last year. Last year was really entertaining and I hope they havent disappeared forever. I have decided to join the circus this year and my goal is to be honest and unbiased. I promise to always tell it like it is or at least like I think it is. Let the games begin!
