i will agree about cross and lyle. but i will have to say depew from east is as good as wash. and i also agree with steele and turner they are good players in their positions.

East was not the better team in that game. Unicoi came out to anxious. They will beat east by 10+ Tuesday night. #15 will not get those open looks like he did at home. Im not saying anything bad about East but the Blue Devils are better when they really play like they are capable of playing. if #15 don't get the looks then #35 or #24 will step up. i think it will be a good game. but i think east by 8. just because it is their home court.

i think they have a good chance. wed night game agaist east while be interesting as east is a good team too. don't know much about uc loses but east has lost to some strong teams. 2 at the arbys and 2 to tn high, one of those in ot. uc is a tough place to play, uc by 3. any other thoughts?

don't know the score but i have seen uh play several times this year and it wouldn't surprise me if they won the game. these 2 teams still have cloudland and unaka to play. should be several good games in these conference!!

I'm glad to hear that Sullivan East is doing real good, and that I will have the chance to see them play in the Arby's Classic. Go East! ballking2008 i will meet you out front and we can watch them together.

this is an old post but i think what these young men have done speaks for itself. they have several good ball players and they are having a great season so far. several conference games coming up. will be interesting to see how far they will go this year.

has the brookes kid had surgery or will he need it? also is it the same knee problem he had before or something different? hope every thing goes well for him i know he is missed on the floor.

when does unicoi play east? this should be a good game. also elizabethton will be hard to beat now the football players are back. they have east tuesday. anythoughts about this one?

he was on cross as well as gray. so what was the final outcome east by how many? so who helps their team more. how many assist, rebounds or turnovers do these players have to help their teams. it isn't only about points!!! it takes 5 and they all need to help out for the team to win not just 1 player. i think only a few can help their team and include their team mates and that is what makes a team winners.

this is true but like i said what has he done to help his team win? there is more to it than just score points!!! cross has made players on his team look better and play better just like the hardees. he didn't lead the team in scoring but what about other areas of the game. garland has got to get tougher and needs the ball more. lyle needs to step up and be a leader for his team to win games as well but this is my opinion if don't coach these kids.

i would say cross and lyle both are good players as well as others in the league. both do different things for their teams so i don't think you can look at 1 certain area that these players do. look at the over all performance and i would agree cross is ahead of the pack for now anyway it is still a long season. any other suggestions?

he's a junior....hampton started 4 juniors......hughes (5) is a good player....reading the paper, i see ward played well also....but i've played this game for decades and one thing is for sure, if the def pressure isnt broken and the ball taken care of by jones and rebounds arent controlled by hill and andrews, then ward and hughes wont see the ball to score 5 per game......these boys MUST play as a unit....if jones continues to control the floor and they keep their heads on straight, this will be one of the best teams to have ever come out of carter county......and ive seen alot of them....JMO when does hampton play cloudland and unaka, better not look to far ahead of those games these 2 teams look good. they both played crockett good games!!!

fulton will make it back to the big dance again. db will have a tough time in the big 8 this year. lookout for boone to be in the top as well as south!!

it looked like he was taking out of his game by the physical play that was put on him. i think he will still have a good tourn.

heard cross went down with a knee injury in the cloudland game but came back in the second half. hope he is o.k. for the hardees.

i will agree with most of your names but not your order. cross, morgan and vannoy are ahead of hughes,ward,harmon and thomas. keep an eye on the box scores for these kids and compare later.
