I wish you would look in the mirror, Big money, and just see how much of a jerk you are being... I am glad to know that Cody doesn't read this. Why a retired older man chooses to criticize a teenager I will never understand. Are you jealous that he can reach his goal? Were you not able to play college football? Why??? There must be some underlying reason that you choose to trash a hard-working, young football player. I have more knowledge and wisdom than you will probably ever have!

I think everyone knows the difference between being recruited and a pamphlet or online questionaires. Why are you even following this thread if you don't think Cody has a chance? Do you have something against Cody? Why can't Cody go to a major college?

I don't get where you are coming from. But oh well. Start at the beginning of this entire thread and count how many NEW plus members there are in just this ONE thread and you might get the idea. Your post says nothing about new members. So I think if anything, he should be laughing at your reply, not you laughing at his.

I do not feel that this thread is in any way a push to try to make this man Mr. Football for linemen. I can only speak for myself though... After reading about him and watching his highlight tapes, I thought this thread was a great way to give a hard working football player a well-deserved pat on the back. From the sounds of it, Warren County doesn't see this kind of talent very often. Cody seems a be a very determined young man! Since he has worked so hard to get to this far, just encourage him. In just a little more than a year from now, we will all know the outcome. But for now, please try to be happy for Cody and what has has and will accomplish. From what I can tell, even if he never walks on the football field again, he is a loving, giving person! You can try to undermine his accomplishments, but you will NEVER be able to take away his heart of gold...

Please, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all! Whether or not Cody ever reads any of this, you should keep your negative comments to yourself! He is a human being. No one should be downed like you just downed Cody. People like you discourage kids from reaching their goals. Only time will tell where Cody's life will lead. Don't criticize him for giving it his all.

How long has Cody played football? Does he play any other sports?
