So whats next for WC. We have a head coach and NO ast. coaches? Where do we go to get them?

looks pretty solid at center from what i have seen. I dont think he will be on the defensive side of the field at a d1a level. Was Cody the athlete from WCHS that shared the district offensive mvp with terryl bowen from cumberland county That was calab our rb. I agree I think offense is what he will be. It is in his genes. He could play defensive if that school runs an odd D such as 50. Who knows maybe he will play O all the time and D as a situtional player.

I think I heard sometime in May. Don't know any dates.

So your 'BS Veer' averaged 30 points and 350 yards a game and you wanna trade it for something that gets you 3 yards a pop? I don't care if we get 1000 yards a game and 60 points. I want an offense. That number 1 wins game. Number 2 controls the clock and tempo. Number 3 Allows us to come back if down by more than 1 score. Number 4 something our kids BELIEVE and buy into. Pioneer fever I dont intend to coach. MY time has past. But I do intend to fully support Coach Johnson his staff, Cody and all rest of Pioneers to the fullest of my ability.

sounds like a bad move to me. just because you can coach at the semi-pro level does not mean a darn thing except he knows football. motivating teenage boys and non-professional assistant and volunteer coaches is different from coaching pro athletes. chris madewell may have the last laugh when this guy fails to win 4 games. this guy johnson is got a great background coach madewell never did anything to get the last laugh on anybody with 6 losing seasons in a row under your belt the laughs on him...... I agree. I think WC will have a good year next year. First we need to get a real O and get rid of or the BS Veer. We need to let Caleb and Michael Run the ball behind Cody. I mean my god he is 6'4 310 lbs I could run behind him. I belive we can get atleast 3 yards a pop behind him. Hopefully no asst. coaches stay. We need to clean house and start over.

Ateam I believed they were ENCOURAGED to quit. Big Money which team do you support on previous post it was Coffee County now it is M-Burro schools? Who is to say Terrence and Cody wont both be playing in the NFL possibly on the same team. I dont think I understand you. Do you not want kids to have goals? I give props to kids who are willing to stand up and say I am going to do this this and this and do everything in my power to get there. I think most of WC would take Cody over ANY M Burro player. I grant you position to position we could not compete with some schools but I know Cody could. About the scheduale I think we will see a lot of improvement this year.

And I'll be the first to admit it's more because of his ability and work ethic than my coaching. bburch- You know I have no problem with legitimate criticism, but blanket statements like: that totally dismiss the effort and accomplishments of a lot of guys gets to me. Maybe the last group didn't get it to the level people would like it and I KNOW they weren't happy with 4 win seasons, but they got it out of the ditch when nobody else wanted it. So maybe it's time for someone new to try and bring it up another notch, I've got no problem with that, but 'fans' shouldn't sit there and #### about the last group just because they didn't win the region. (Btw, I know you didn't make those statements, was letting you know where I was coming from) Nitro we think alike on a lot of things. In My opinion the criteria is winning and developing players giving them the opportunity to play at the next level. ( I know all are not D1 athletes.) WC should have several guys playing in some division of college football. I have seen talent at Warren Co. the last few years and their names are not getting out. I want to ask you a question as a coach. How did you develop them over 4 years? Did you ever sell these guys or publicize them. Did you ever send tape, call coaches, or e-mail them? I believe it was around 1,220 lbs on bench press, squat and power clean. Also I just heard Tommy Johnson got the WC coaching job. Can anyone confirm this?

I am no longer a coach I have in the past but not around her. I didn’t get to Coach very long for some personal reasons but that s that. Sorry I offended you. But I am not sorry that I consider 4-6 a crappy Season. I also am very glad ya broke the streak. But how many players do you currently have playing at the next level?

Never said I did. I know two thing and thats how to Coach and Win football games. I never did booster club things or other stuff. I had one job as a coach and that was to WIN. How do you know what running a program takes?.

The new coach will have alot on his plate winning games will take care of alot of his trouble but if he jumps out to a 0-3 start Hes gonna be in trouble They will NOT go 0-3 way too many winners on that team to do that. ( Robinson, Northcutt, Curtis, Etc) Wait and see this will be a team we talk about for a long time. Mark my words.
