It's good to see someone actually speaking the truth about the baseball in Lenoir City. I have a son on the team now and another one 4 years ago. The results are the same. The talent level in this county is not on par with what we have to face day in and day out in this district. Locally, all you hear is how bad the coach is...how he doesnt know what he is doing. Well, from being around this program all this time and from actually coaching kids up to the high school level, you would be hard pressed to get any better results with what you have to work with here. I, personally, have no problems with Coach McNish. Not that i agree with everything he does, but he seems to be doing all he can do with what he has to work with. Look, if you know baseball, ..... you dont get better during the season....you get better and win alot of ball games in the off season. It painfully obvious, from being around these kids for all this time, who is putting in the work and who isnt. He cant babysit these boys the entire time. IF they dont have the WANT-TO, whats he supposed to do?
