You kind find scores from football games of the past and everything from the internet! Ever heard of it? And, since you apparently dont "read so good" you might try reading the title of this thread. Any hints there to the history of CHS v.FHS? I appreciate your acknowleging how much I know about FHS/CHS, but I cant take any credit. Most of us simple folks know how to get the information they need when they need you. You must have not done your homework the day they taught that skill. Please go easy on poor Centennial. They are not nearly as experienced as Franklin at not winning championships. How in the world could they ever stand up to the onslaught of Franklin's historical greatness?

I think it is a foregone conclusion that FHS wins this one. I just hope you guys, with those two silver balls and 100 years of football experience go easy on poor, little, young, iexperienced Centennial. I wonder why the game is even played. Maybe beating 5A schools will help Franklin build its confidence so maybe they can one day actually win a state championship. Well, not really. You got beat by the only 6A team you have played this year, and they are not considered very good either.

That is too funny. 6A schools wont play you but 5A will? doh And you brag about semi finals and quarter finals when all that does is prove that Franklin, in 100 years of football, cant win the big one. You just proved my point. Thank you. Be happy with that 0-228 in state championships. Be happy with a couple of silver balls and some quarter final plaques. I bet CHS wins a state championship before Franklin. CHS still has 84 years to win it to do it faster than Franklin. 85 years from now, if CHS still hasnt won their first state championship. then you can say CHS is as bad as Franklin. 0-100 years, 0-228 state champions named. Not much of a football school. 0-14 for CHS against FHS doesnt even come close to as embarassing.

Centennial can talk whenever they want. The fact of the matter is that Franklin plays more 5A teams than Centennial. Yes, they have to play two of them, but to add two more is pathetic. Centennial plays in a 6A district as a 5A team. Franklin is a 6A school trying to play a 5A schedule. Thats weak no matter how you slice it.

Truth a little hard to swallow? Enjoy 5A football. If you survive it, which you obviously should, Rutherfod County or Maryville will slay you guys. You have a good team with a decent program, but those guys are way out of your league. Seriously, you got beat by one of the weaker teams in Rutherford County. And thats not saying CHS could. With their mistakes from Friday night still fresh, if they continue to make them, they wont beat anybody. You may be right, CHS might not have a chance. But the signs are everywhere, FHS stock will fall rapidly after this season. The bright side is that you guys are good at scheduling 5A schools so maybe you can keep the win column looking decent. This season is CC's swan song. If not, he will wish it was. Once qbk is gone, there is not much left. The captain will get off the sinking ship.

The records here' http://www.hsfdatabase.com/tn_statechamps2000.htm only go back to 1938. Since then there have been 228 tennessee high shcool football champs. None have been Franklin. 0-228, not so good.

Its been very busy in here! A whole new thread has even been started! And I know folks are chomping at the bit to get a piece of taco, so here is some food for thought; Franklin, a large 6A school, plays more 5A schools (4) than Centennial(3), who actually is a 5A school. Wonder why it would be this way in Middle Tennessee, where there are so many teams to chose from for non district games? Actually, I dont wonder. But now some of you might. Have fun all, and keep seeing taco every where you post. Go easy on the Cougars Franklin, they are just a poor little 5A school with a short and not so great history that the team is working hard to change. Have mercy on them. They certainly can't compare State Championships with you...oh wait, oops, my bad, actually...yes they can. FHS - 0, CHS - 0. According to some of you, they dont know how to play football at Centennial, and its apparently the coach's fault and its the obvious and only conclusion to make after one game. Have a great season playing your 5A schedule. Centennial will be getting better playing their 6A schedule. This year may be yours, but the future certainly does not look good in another year or two.

good video. Thanks for posting. The video shows some times of timidness. Got to amp it up some. The were definitely some jitter mistakes being made and some missed assignments. And I agree, CHS will improve.

I think everyone may be a little premature in writing off the cougars. Remember, this was game one. They have a schedule that can lead to some wins. I did a little research and I dont think they scored 21 points in a game the entire season lst year. Thats definitely a positive for them. Offense was out of sync as could be expected for a totally new team under a new coach. Defense definitely needs some work and experience. Give them a little more time to see what team they are really going to be. Does anyone know how many seniors are starting?

There looked to be several thousand people there, and I am sure many were at those locations too. So what is your point? I was even right in front of the scoreboard when it cut out. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever encountered. You folks are boorish baffoons. I tell you what, pc, why dont you describe yourself to me. I gave a very accurate description of myself but you didnt find me. Since you are not very competent, why dont I look for you at the next game? I never heard anyone wandering around calling "taco" but I bet that was a comical sight and I wish I had seen it. Would I have responded to it? Probably not because why would I respond to someone who is known as loudmouth whose unlady like behavior includes foul language and a Franklin version of Talladega Nights?

Its was definitely a disappointing night. Seeing receivers that were much slower than the dbs get behind Centennials secondary is inexcusable. And for those looking for taco, you might need to get your eyes checked. Stood at the beginning of the fence the entire first quarter. Moved out to the chained area on the track during the second. Went to the stands for the half time show, back to the track entire second half. White shirt, plaid shorts, very tan. There all night. Sorry you missed me, sad that you care as much about me as the game. The home crowd was huge and one of the most remarkable high school atmospheres I have ever seen. Centennial students are very well mannered kids and have fun and cheer great. A great change from the IHS home crowds. Centennial has a way to go with the football program, but the building blocks are there from what I saw.

I would agree with this. Guys that get paid pathetically and are already publically abused for wins and losses doesnt sound right to do this to them.
