  1. The young Bruins are getting better. Offensive line seems to be jelling a little. Throwing the ball better. Building some depth. The Green Wave has a good win over Oakland but the next 3 games will tell us what the Green Wave is made of. IMHO, 5A ball is really really really weak.
  2. I've given this a lot of thought and prognostication. I've decided that the answer to your question, Is Indy for Real? is : no............ No offense - o.k. defense - so so coaching - enjoy the winning streak. I know you guys are concerned about that juggernaut of Tennessee football: Coffee County.
  3. Bruins by 10 - Book it. Indy's coach as a better Titan's analyst than high school football coach and that is scareeeeee......
  4. Masheen, As the self proclaimed guru of Williamson County, I have to ask you: What drugs were you partaking of before you wrote this post? If ever there was a team that has a chance to win state championships, its this one? 1. The 08 team IMHO was the probably the best chance. Balanced offense and defense. Ran into Rutherford County in what is becoming a trend unfortunately. 2. The 09 team was not as good as the 08 team - period. Brentwood was better also. 3. This bunch has a good QB but and could very well win the district(which in this year is nothing but a paper tiger) but write this down, THEY WILL NOT WIN STATE or even sniff at it. I've got the names of some good internet rehab places if you ever need one. As for Franklin vs. Centennial, This year it will be the Rebels. However, Willco needs to be afraid of this bunch in the future: lots of athletes and a coach who knows how to win. Wildcard is whether he will get enough time or if he will get fed up.
  5. Against the porous Franklin defense, The Cougars might score ........... 7 .......... while the Rebels put up 28. Rector needs a couple of years.
  6. If the Rebels don't learn how to play defense, Mr. Kuivenen will be out by the 5th game with either a rotator cuff injury or just his arm is going to fall off. He has improved from last year and has the 2 things you can't teach a quarterback: 6'4" and a lively arm!
  7. I don't have a team Chauncey. I would hope Potters record is better against the Williamson County Publics because he can RECRUIT his players. If I wanted to go watch paid players, I would go watch MBA or The U!!!
  8. I gotta go with Brentwood though it will come down to kicking, turnovers, and penalties.
  9. Well If Ralphie and his recruits played in Class AAA(5A & 6A), he would have been included in the poll. By the way, I saw where BA got there butt handed to them last Friday. Could there possibly be a better team out there that money can buy?
  10. I think Franklin wins this one with the "K" throwing 100 times for 60% completion in a squeaker. I don't expect a lot of defense.
  11. O.K. - Time to stir up some controversy. Everyone can chime in on the poll questions and also comment if they want. I already know the answers to these as, The WillCoGuru always knows.................
  12. FBFORME, You guys went to KY to play games so you would have the most overrated schedule in the mid-state which you had last year. There is a difference in going out of state to play strong competition and going out of state to play cream puffs. You statement about showing off players to college coaches is ludicrous. What Franklin High kid has been recruited as a big league prospect in the past few years(or for that matter, Brentwood(only Lucas Patrick comes to mind), Indy, Centennial, Page, etc...)? Maybe Kuivenen breaks the mold but he has to get a lot better and mobile. He does have the size. Face it, this is going to be a down year for the Rebels and probably the other WillCo teams. Remember, The WillCoGuru knows...............
