Winding up IMAC play against Cherokee tonight and then Senior night Thursday against Science Hill.

Lady Canes were able to slip by Seymour in 3 sets last night but they were all very close games. Seymour has a quality program.

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while! I looked at our scores and to my recollection everything os correct except the scores of Alcoa & Maryville. you have us winning 2-0 in both and it was 2-1 in both. Thanks! Tough match for us tonight against Seymour.

My Lady Canes knocked off Morr West tonight in 5 sets Woo Hoo!!! Won the first 2 sets, lost the next 2 sets and was down 8-3 in the last set and came back and won 15-12. Great win ladies!! Now 10-2 on the season.

I am proud to say my beautiful daughter, Emilie Hensley, gave her verbal commitment to Brad Irwin and the ETSU Lady Bucs!! I am so proud of her, it has taken alot of hard work and dedication! She is a 2012, not a 2011 though.

Morristown East Lady Canes! Won tournament by beating Davy Crockett, Johnson County, West Greene, Science Hill, & Unicoi County. We did not lose a set which was impressive but the girls played very well considering we just lost our big girl in the middle probably for a month or longer (shoulder). The girls had to adjust and play different positions and they did great!

Won tournament in Elizabethton yesterday! Way to go girls, we are very proud of you! Go Lady Canes!!

South Greene is pretty good they beat my ladies in 5 games last night. Tough loss but a very competitive game.

Lady Canes off to a good start with victories over Alcoa and Maryville last night. Played really sloppy but I guess its early, its nice to be 2-0. Playing South Greene tonight who pushed West to 5 games last night.

Not sure about where or if Seymours players play club ball but they looked pretty good the other night. Maybe some Seymour fans can chime in and let us know. Should be a fun year in the IMAC and I for one am looking forward to it!

East, West, and Seymour looked like the best teams at the IMAC jamboree. I think all three of these teams can play with the teams in the Big 8. East will get a big early season test on Monday as they will travel to Blount County to play Alcoa and Maryville. East faired well against teams from Big 8 at the Carson Newman playday. West should once again be very tough and Seymour will be good as well.

Hows things going to shake up in the IMAC this year volleyball fans? The paper says it should be a tight race. Just wondering.

Jefferson County-60 South Doyle-24 Cherokee-47 Cocke County-31 With the only two teams that I thought had no shot at winning the District tournament now gone I believe every game from here on out is a toss up. Sevier County and Morristown East are the two lowest seeds left and Sevier has home court advantage while East is arguably the hottest team in the conference right now.

Practice has started and the scent of spring is in the air. IMAC fans should be excited about the start of another softball season. I think Jefferson County, Morristown East, and Seymour should once again be tough. Any thoughts or preditions from any fans out there?

Who are some candidates for POY in the IMAC? I would think Casey Ryans would have to be right up there.

Ya my ladies have shot poorly for a few games now but it was close till the fouth quarter. Have to hand it to West they played well and were ready. Smith and Donaldson had great games. Go to Seymour tonight to try and right the ship.
