What offense can MC fans expect to see this year? Wide open or run, run, run? How about Defense? 4,5 or 6 man front or something different?

I can't really say that I expected anything different from Coach Smith. If this is true I think MC should open the job search back up and try to get someone that will stay.

Best guess would be Coach Christian as D-Cordinator and Secondary, Coach Price O-line, Coach Austin D-line and Coach Smith O-Cordinator and Head Coach.

I heard that Austin would be coaching Line and helping with the weight and conditioning. I don't know if that means O-line or D-line or both. I think he is coaching in Ga. now.

Looks like Coach Price, Coach Christian are going to coach plus I hear Jeremy Austin will join the staff. Nothing firm though.

I hear that Coach Christian will probably coach this year. I think Coach Price is in too. I don't know when Coach Smith will start. He had a post on here about scrimmages.

I think that the only other coach would be Coach Walker. He coaches Jr. High now.

I heard that Coach Christian said NO but was going to stay on as Teacher. I think that Coach Price is considering the same staying on as Teacher but not coaching or maybe just helping with Jr. High.

O.K. just for fun: What qualities do you look for when you hire a coach? Resume, wins and losses, experience, recomendations, stability, religion, politics are some other qualities?

Coach Smith needs to be given a chance. Good Luck Coach! And Beat Huntland this year!!!!! The players will be the ones to suffer over all this. I have heard that the players and current coaches at the High School don't like Smith. Some talk of player boycot. Without players it could be tough this season. I think the Principal made a huge error in judement.

Shoo-weee what a stinking hire. I was wanting one of the local boys to get the job.

Moore County News is reporting that the school officials are down to ten candidates. I think that the principal is strapped with task of making the final choice. They (School Officials) need to make sure that it is done right. Even if that means having to skip Spring Practice. Keep your fingers cross!!! Who are the final 10?
