  1. So how is everyone doing with the district games so far? Heard that Montgomery Central beat Camden, but haven't really heard how the other girls teams are doing. Has anyone else heard that Katie Prince may be coming back soon? That would be great for Waverly!
  2. Great post. I think that all of these teams are pretty equally matched this year...it should be exciting to watch!
  3. Didn't Montgomery Central beat Stewart County both times last year?
  4. Congratulations to both Marshall and Creekwood!
  5. Congratulations to Creekwood! Represent us well in the Region! The Montgomery Central/Page game was sad. The officiating was terrible, but Central was off their game. Maybe next year... Everyone from 11AA needs to try to make it to the game to support Creekwood for sure! Austin - we are looking for about five or six 3 pointers from you!
  6. I know Moore, and Hardy got both for Montgomery Central and Sanchez got an all tournament I believe.
  7. Ok Vol 5198, without making any predictions, (since that is against your morals) What does 12AA look like? Were there any upsets in that district tournament? What are their strong points? Creekwood is dominant inside. Who on that side has something for them? And as for Cwood 212, you should wait to post with adults until you learn how to speak and write the english language.
  8. Congratulations to Creekwood!! That was an awesome game to watch. Montgomery Central really gave them a run for their money! Looked like a completely different team from the last time these two matched up. The game was fun to watch. Also congrats to all of the individuals who worked hard and won individual awards!! Anyone know anything about 12AA???
  9. I am with you on that. Hamilton and Smith need to get on a good AAU team. Central is a young team they have a bright future next year. Who else in the district has "young talent" coming up next year? I know Creekwood and Waverly are losing some strong seniors, but Stewart County is only losing one. Anyone have any thoughts?
  10. After watching the games on Friday night and then reading all of these posts I am beginning to wonder if some watched the same games or do they just not know much about basketball. In any case, both games were exciting to watch. Montgomery Central controlled the game (by whatever means they had available to them - 4 corners, good defense, ect.). Sanchez was excellent on defense and Moore did his job. Moore may not be one of the best shooters, but he has been stepping up his offensive game of late. Although if they could have hit freethrows it would have been a more decisive victory. Creekwood had a slow start, but they did what they had to in order to win. Their athleticism is incredible. Creekwood has an awesome team and Montgomery Central is going to have to be on their game if they think they are going to get close to winning that matchup. Can't wait for Tuesday!
