If carter has perimeter shooters and a couple big men to fight for rebounds they should win. Maplewood gets a lot of 2nd chance points off rebounds.

Yeah, SH is a good defensive team, but they were so much bigger than us. they killed us with rebounds. SH is a quick team so they did slow lee down a bit but there was no stopping Wade he has hops. SH will be back though. 4 of our starters were sophomores and a few of them will grow and develop, but maplewood is good, but I imagine one of the 3 teams you metioned will take it all.

are you crazy... what sport are you even talking about fulton has won the last two state championships and has the best player in the state in AA on thier team, now idk what would make anyone believe that maplewood is better than fulton or tyner matter of fact Fulton is bringin back a 3peat!!!! GO FALCONS! ok guys, calm down! Im sorry for having an opinion. Truth is I havent seen any of these other teams play. I said they were probably the best, I didnt say they WERE hands down the best. How about I say the best in Middle TN? Im not trying to offend anyone. Being in middle TN we dont see as good of competition as yall do im sure. But to be fair, have anyone even seen Maplewood? if so and you still think they cant compare then ok! I will believe you! But to bash my opinion is ridiculous. I didnt take anything away from your teams with my statement. They might 3 peat, who knows? Yall dont worry because Maplewood is not going to win state, Im just saying they MAY suprise some people so get off my back.

Creekwood was big, but there big men had no game compared to Maplewood. Maplewood man handled SH in the sub-state. They were a lot bigger than Creekwood. Faster and Stronger. Creekwood would get beat by anyone of these 8 teams by 10-20 points easily. Trust me MC fan, I was the same way until I saw Maplewood! That robert wade guy dunked on us like 7 times and they were beastly dunks. Now SH did offset there size with shooting. Maplewoods coach said SH was the best shooting team they came across and yall beat us 3 times this year. We shot great against them but there size and speed broke us. with that being said, MC will match up well with these teams. Ive seen MC a few times this year and they are capable of making a run but yall will have to play as good as yall played against us in the region championship, because when MC plays like that, they can run with anyone.

Maplewood is probably the best team thats not from west tn and wade is a freak but a team from west tn will win it all this year and if Bolivar and Liberty play each other, all I have to say is that it is hard to beat a team 4 times in one year. We played both Tyner and Maplewood and would have to pick Maplewood over Tyner. Maybe we caught Tyner on a bad day. Maplewood may surprise a few people next week. Hey coach, what team are you associated with?

In my opinion, Maplewood is better. I would really like to see how Kedren Johnson would play against Maplewood. Maplewood could definetly out rebound Marshall Co. Maplewood is so athetic and big. Kedren is so poised and can play with the big boys but Maplewood definetly has the better team. Lee and Johnson would be exciting to watch. Kedren loves to drive too so it would be exciting to see how he would adjust his game with a beast like wade in front of him. You were right, they are the real deal. I wonder how they match up with Bolivar, and Liberty.

Congrats to Marshall County! Good job SH on a great year. We will make it next year. 4 out of 5 starters are sophomores and they are still going to grow and develop. SH did show strong points but Wade is a freak. Dude slammed it down like 7 times. One dunk was an oop that looked something like a 180. Maplewood was stronger, bigger, and had more experience than SH. It was nice for SH to play someone that good so they can learn and use what they learned next year.

No im not going to the game, im going to the Spring hill game tonight. Sorry about the info on the full court press, its been since Jan 23 since the SH-Columbia game and I have been to a lot of games since then. But they did have an athletic team that can run the floor and drop the 3. Cleveland averages something like 78 points a game( i think ) and the paper said they dropped 106 on ootelwah or something like that. If they even come close to dropping there average, Columbia's season is done. I think Columbia will have to slow the pace down a little and keep cleveland at bay. Cleveland by twelve at least.

wow! That is ridiculous! In that case, they should've moved it closer to SH. I just cant believe that, I figured it wasnt true because ive already heard a lot of people complain about maplewood but they were just doing that because of the school's location. I'm sorry, should've believed you. Anyways, hopefully SH can take advantage of this distraction Maplewood has in front of them. I hope all the SH fans show up, I will definetly be there. Well, there gym has been under construction all year. They played all there home games at Dalewood Middle School this year. It was in the Tennessean in January and the Columbia paper.

I would keep an eye on English and parks(not sure of the number they wear). In all reality, its hard to say who to watch because they really dont have a stud. They are just a good team with a good coach. I know they have a kid thats like 6'4 but I am not sure of his name.

I will say Cleveland by 12 or so. you have 2 people from Columbia picking Cleveland. Columbia is good, but not good enough to make it to the buro this year.

I pulled the directions up on mapquest, but Im still trying to find out if they are playing at Maplewood or if they still play their home games at Dalewood Middle School since their gym was under construction.

Columbia is pretty good, but i believe yall will win. I know they are athetic. one player is about 6'4. They definetly have some perimeter shooters but when SH played them, we were beating them by 15 at the half and they came out in the second half and beat us by 8 or so. I believe SH ran a full court press for a while which flustered them in the first half.

I wouldn't be too confident about that statement. Maplewood is a really good team. They lost to Overton by 1pt and Overton beat Spring Hill by nearly 20pts. I know that doesn't amount to a whole lot but Maplewood will definately be one of their strongest opponents this year. This game is at Maplewood home so it will be tough for SH to beat them at home. Yeah that doesn't mean too much. whites creek played them close a few times this year and we played them close too but tourney time is always different. Any thing can happen. I heard they got a 6'6 player in wade, the size matchup may definetly go to them but SH should keep this close with a good chance to pull it out. Do you know if they are still playing their home games at Dalewood Middle or did their gym constuction get finished?

I have no idea what MLK and Maplewood look like but these 2 games should be great. I am definetly making the drive to Maplewood and I hope we can play up to our potential. Marshall should have no problem winning the big game. Marshall shows no fear in their big games. Does anyone know anything about MLK and Maplewood? GOOD LUCK TIGERS! GO RAIDERS!!!!

That was an awesome game to be apart of. Im glad my raiders hung in there and kept fighting but the better team won tonight. Here we come Maplewood! Good luck Tigers!
