I would have to say DeMarco Jackson from LEAD Academy for district MVP.
  2. Now that the season has started and teams have played, anybody have their prediction on how things will finish this year? I may be wrong but here are mine. 1. NC 2. LEAD 3. East Rob 4. McEwen 5. CA 6. Houston Co. 7. Jo Byrns
  3. LEAD were all underclassmen last year so they return everyone. They're biggest hit will be the loss of their coach who moved on to the college ranks. Was a bright young guy from what I saw. If the players respond well to the new coach I expect them to do some damage with the athletes they have. Here are my predictions, but I could be totally wrong when the dusts settles. Also Hyde is not in the district anymore. 1. NC 2. LEAD 3. East Rob 4. McEwen 5. Houston Co. 6. Clarksville Academy 7. Jo Byrns
  4. A kid that has a ton of potential and could dominate single A in middle tn this year if it all comes together is DeMarco Jackson at LEAD Academy. Saw some improvement over the summer.
  5. I like the East Robertson pick buledievlpdrie. Here could be a possibility, but I could be completely wrong when the season comes around Top 3 East Robertson LEAD Academy Nashville Christian Bottom 4 McEwen Clarksville Academy Houston County Jo Byrns
  6. I know it's early, but with another great season over, I guess its time to start looking forward to next season. Anybody have any outlooks on how things may be next year in 10A?

  8. (Clarksville Academy/Merrol Hyde Winner) @ Nashville Christian School Houston County @ White House Heritage Lead Academy @ Jo Byrns McEwen @ East Robertson
  9. People say the league is down, but at least the games seem competitive from top to bottom right now.
  10. who won lead white house heritage game?
  11. Yea Jo Byrns has been a definite surprise. Haven't had a chance to see them play, but the box scores show that they are on a roll.
  12. Saw that the NC and East game went into overtime with both team making a combined 17 three pointers. Lot of shooting that game, must have been exciting. Looks pretty even though across the board except for Heritage has been pretty dominant. Ready to see the results for their game next week against East.
  13. Dalton11, any idea on how the teams looked besides McEwen and Heritage?
  14. Not trying to defend LEAD, but what if LEAD is actually a decent team and/or coach. Just because its their first year does not mean they have to be labeled as a bottom of the barrel team. But I am interested to see the results in some of the district games tonight. Good luck to all teams tonight.
  15. haha yes that is true mtownballer. I have been surprised with how LEAD has competed so far though. May have a bright future if they can continue to develop.
  16. Now that the season has started, what is everyone's thoughts about district 10A, teams, and players? I think it will definitely be an interesting year. I think Heritage should take the crown home now.

  18. You are right Tupper, but it depends on the school also. I know Smithson Craighead is a charter middle school in Nashville that was a powerhouse in athletics due to the open zoning. Due to not focusing on academics and doing bad on state test, they are closing down. I have a friend that works at LEAD and they actually may have a no pass no play policy on athletes or some type of suspension on athletes. Heard they were missing 3 players due to a failing grade on progress reports. In the end the school that care about academics will stick around and the ones that don't will fizzle out or be shut down. Anyways, I think they can beat Nashville Christian too. Anyone know anything about the coach there?
  19. They play Nashville Christian tomorrow I think.
  20. Their home games will be played at Fisk University. Majority inner city kids or should we say students that qualify for free and reduced lunch. And I think it was the only district that would work geographically since they only have about 200 students I think.
  21. Anyone know if they have a coaches' poll for district 10A? If so does anyone have the results?
  22. Yes it really is a toss up. For some reason right now I'd have to go with Nashville Christian. I also heard some good things about Houston County. I know they have a pretty good player, but do not know anything outside of that.
  23. Sounds like White House may be pretty solid this especially with the size. Should give other teams some trouble. The key is if their guards can get the job done too. Anyone have any dark horse teams that could surprise some people this year?
  24. Did the bigs from White-House contribute any on last years team? And also what dark horse teams are in the district that could make some noise?
