Finally, Dresden's offense shows up to play a game. It was good to see our playmakers get the ball in their hands. Defense was good on most plays. Bruceton gave up on their run game in the second quarter except for the occasional qb run. That big 9 is good if he has a gap, but he sure didn't want to get tough yards. Hope we saved a little scoring for Halls. Don't think we had any big injuries. Ready for HALLS. Actually been ready for this game for a year. Still got a bad taste in my mouth over last year.

Very impressed with the improvement at Bruceton. They have their o and d lines playing hard again. Hope they take a step backwards tonight. Good to see them getting better. I didn't recognize any part of the team last year as being "BRUCETON" type football. This years team is back to the basics. Dresden practiced hard this week and I believe are ready to play. Good luck Lions! You will have one fan there! ME! The rest of the town must be waiting for their personal invites....hint...hint. Show up!

Dresden golf is the best sport at dresden high school. There is no way any other athlete can say that they are true masters of athletics if they can not use the hand eye coordination that it takes to be a golfer. Just the other day watching dresden's team practice I saw beatty hit a golf ball and pick his nose with his left hand. Talent. Parsley was seen itching himself (won't say where) while lining up a putt. Where else can you be sub par and happy about it. Well, besides our baseball team. Go golfers

If you go to Union City...turn into Eastgate Apartments...then you won't have to worry about directions. We are just down the hill from the hog farm for all you normal people not in Union City.

Bruceton used to travel a huge crowd, it would be great to see that here tonight. Bring all the student section and tigger fans you can. Show dresdonites how to fill a stadium. Last week was a pathetic showing of support. Hard to believe a football area like this can't fill a stadium on a beautiful evening like this. Drive safe Tiggers. Looking forward to a great game!

Jackdon Co. is a class act. The bowl game we played against them last year was great. They had a lot of young talent. I would be surprised if they aren't a good team by the end of the year. Pulling for all you JC kids. Kick Some butt!!

Hmm...lets just say I have an insider in that town who see's the kids daily at practice. Tells me about lack of effort and lack of leadership. Lack of heart...effort, leadership, and no feeling of family. "ME" attitude. Not saying they are bad kids. Just saying they don't understand the effort needed year around to be good. Not the coaches fault...it takes sacrifice. Think of all the good teams...how many kids don't go on vacations, summer trips, class trips, fishing trips, etc so they can meet their committment they made to their football team. For those that think that is insane...well...you have 4 years to play high school football and a ton more to be on vacation. Go on Dead Period! Dresden had that problem...we lost a ton. We toughened up and now its getting better. You may lose a few kids that can help, but you will gain a better team environment. But, again...my opinion is as worthless as anyones...thats why its free. I'm sure that money will help you win. Soon as we hit the lottery here in dresden we are going to buy us a winning team too.

No, coach hewett had entire team get a tatoo on their hand saying "you missed the playoffs in 2009 because you were pathetic losers at HALLS". I think they will remember.

hahahaahahahah.. should of figured it out. West carroll player remembering his team would of won every game if they had depth.lol... dang if dresden had 22 of mckenzie's players we would have beat them! lol Gotta love that. Selective memory. McKenzie and Huntingdon are the big dogs in this district and until someone beats them, not saying "should of, could of, would of" then they hold those spots.

Not as talented...maybe. But, as a team they are better because of the attitude this year. This group works their tails off. Last years group were ready to quit instead of play at bowl game. Some wanted to go to basketball, some hunting, some just lazy. Too many cancers in the locker room. Yes, all the talent you could ask for, but leadership never stepped up to make team work hard. Wasted talent is same as no talent. We will see which team is better simply by only way football is evaluated...wins. I hope this years team takes the title. Hard workers. YES, ugly, but that isn't a penalty with most refs.

Welcome back to baseball. Dresden baseball is training hard on the golf course. Can they win district...who cares, we just go to watch the catcher hit homers. But, seriously, they have most of their team back and if they don't win this year...they should fold tent and change to boys soccer.

Well, they have that ugly center mcfeet back...slow, unathletic, goofy dumbo ears. They have a few kids who should stick to football only like Gatlin "i can't shoot", Dale "me wear pink" Hutch, Daniel "my guy wears pink" Harris, and Tyler "i'm too pretty for this shirt" hawks. Gatlin has told me he predicts they will be in the runner up spot for last place in district. They shoot high. Coach Dilday gave his prediction for this year also....MORE ULCERS! Coach Hewett, who always supports his basketball program said "we have a basketball team?" and coach Hodge moved an inch and breathed when asked about basketball....big reaction for him.

I believe with the leadership provided by their #1 coach....jana ring, they will be unbeatable. Look out gibson county...there is a new big dog in girl's basketball now. No! I'm not drinking! Joking hyper-sensative basketball fans. Dresden wins district because these girls work hard. Region is a toss up because there are many quality teams. If this insults the rest of the district.....so what! GO LIONS!

Adamsville big. Scotts hill is still a couple years away from getting it together.
