  1. State semis at Paul Ward Stadium! Just how it should be. Mustangs win big! GO BLUE
  2. I'm just shocked at how not good (won't say bad) Dresden is. I don't know who they play in the play-offs, but I can't see this team getting out of the second round. 34 is tough but that is just about all they have.
  3. Great game Stangs! Check my older posts. I said 48-6.... off by 10, but I'll take it
  4. Not sure if this has been posted. But before the game there is a soup dinner at the school. All proceeds will go to Jimmy Taylor. Jimmy's wife Ginger has been a teacher for years at Huntingdon. Her husband Jimmy is suffering from dementia. They are great people so get there early and help them out. GO BLUE!
  5. I agree 100% with everything you said. Good post
  6. HA!!! Guess a "packed house" over there and in Huntingdon is a different term. Here it means when the bleachers are full...
  7. A realistic observation. This game is at Paul Ward. I'm going to say history will repeat itself and Huntingdon will have a full house. Dresden's stands will be about half empty. Huntingdon will hit Dresden like they haven't been hit this season. Being hit in front of a packed home side won't be much fun. Dresden will lie down rather early and Huntingdon will pour it on them. TIFWIW
  8. Arlington is a great school. I can see the argument
  9. Hope they do stay. I think he will thrive in Dresden. Not that he wouldn't in Memphis, I just think it'd be best for him to stay put. Exceptional athlete
  10. If Winn was starting for the high school friday I would be more concerned than what I am now. Seriously, that kid can play
  11. im starting to change my thoughts on this one, i'm saying stangs 48-7 Dresden wont be able to handle a team this physical
  12. Just by record the Lions are the favorite. This doesn't tell me anything though. Should be a great game. I know last year Dresden could not stop Warbritton and i think they will have the same problem this year. I can see it going either way. A lot depends on how the two practice over the next couple of weeks. I know Huntingdon will get after it this week and have a very physical practice. Should be a fun game
  13. Leadership goes a long way. The Stangs will only have about 7 seniors next year so I'm already interested to see if one of them can emerge as a leader. Don't worry though, McKenzie will get it back
