  1. With spring practice right around the corner, I was just curious how the Tigers are looking for the 2012 season. I know we lost some very good players, but I was unsure about our younger kids. Any help?
  2. I was wondering if the TSSAA has guidelines on filming games. For example, who can film, do they have to designate a "filmer" and so on..... I bring this up, because I recently stumbled on several Chester County players' highlight films on YouTube and they were filmed (at CC away games) from the visitor's bleachers. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble, because I am all for kids getting as much publicity as possible. However if there are rules against this, I think the CC staff needs to be aware of this so they can address it. Just wondering??
  3. Fredrel Cross from Bolivar. Almost 1400 yds rushing 20 tds. Over 9 yds per carry. Great ko return guy also. Very good all around back and a great kid too.
  4. Fredrel Cross from Bolivar. Plays in one of the toughest 4A regions in the state (this year) and is averaging about 180 yards and 2 TD's per game.
  5. Huge win for the Tigers Friday night in Jackson. It was the tale of two halfs. Bolivar turned it over in the 1st half and the Hawks turned it over in the 2nd. The Tigers put themselves in a good position in the early district race. Congrats to the boys and the coaches.....great win. Corinth comes to town Friday night for the Tigers first home game. Anybody have any information on our neighbors to the South. GO TIGERS!!!!
  6. I know Adamsville has worked hard to build their program and I commend them for that.......HOWEVER, i can't stay quiet any longer. The 'ville is crying they "let one slip away"....really? Good teams don't let that happen. You got beat. Don't make excuses! Secondly, you may "right the ship". that may be true, but it aint gonna be, this week. You have no idea what the speed of the game will be like against Bolivar. Someone posted that the Tigers have a couple of backs that aren't the calibur of Phelps. That is one true statement. They aren't the same calibur. Because they have 3 backs that are better! don't you just love football and trash talk!!! Bolivar by at least 17. GO TIGERS!!!
  7. coach cupples has taken an administration job, so who will follow him as the Eagles' next headman
  8. great effort by the young Bolivar Central Tigers friday night against liberty. the tigers had liberty on the ropes for the 1st 2 quarters, but then a few bad breaks (several questionable holding penalties) and liberty's depth got the best of them. congratulations to the players and coaches of Bolivar Central. we are all proud of you.
  9. will it be different this time around? it's always interesting to see 2 teams play again and look at the adjustments each have made. it should be fun!! go tigers!
  10. big game in Henderson this week. winner could be playoff bound. who has the edge?
  11. Just an opinion....everyone's got one!!!! 1. South Side 2. Liberty 3. Lexington 4. Bolivar Central 5. Chester Co 6. McNairy 7. Fayette Ware-
  12. Liberty had one great year, no doubt about it, but year in and year out, south side is the team to beat in our district. Liberty also graduated alot of seniors.
  13. I heard South Side started spring practice this week. How are the Hawks looking? Just curious since they are the team to beat in our district. GO TIGERS!!
  14. Anyone see the Humboldt - Bolivar scrimmage? I heard Humboldt looked pretty good, but our Tigers looked very young and got pushed around a little bit. I saw a little of the Green-White game and they looked pretty good, but again that was against themselves. I hope they can rebound and be competitive. Go TIGERS!!!!
