The player was not pushed, hit, or provoked by the teacher. The kid lost it and hit/kicked/scratched/clawed the teacher who only defended himself in a professional manner. This kid has a past with assault and that is more than enough to say goodbye to him. And even if he didn't have a past it shouldnt matter if this was the first time-he hit a teacher-case closed. Its pitiful and a joke to think someone on here would give the kid a second chance-what to hit another authority figure? People need to be more worried about the teacher than the player. Let psychologists, his family, and judges determine the kid's fate now. I personally don't want my son at the high school or on the team if they let him back. I'm sure the administration will do the right thing and keep him away. Let's move on and focus on what we still have on the team because we are going to be awesome this fall.

Quad 4 is definately the toughest quadrant, wow, when mitchell and melrose are at the bottom you know that quadrant is loaded. HC's quadrant is weak at the bottom but top 5 are good. It doesn't matter where columbia or lawrence co. end up they aren't going to win it. If all teams stay healthy and play to their potential...I don't see anyone beating Ridgeway. But that is why they play the games.

First of all im a fan of HC, just pointing out that DC would have had a better chance with some better calls by the refs and some better coaching. #3 did not have possesion of the ball with his knee down on that punt return. You have to have possesion of the ball when your knee is down, not just touching it. Don't care if DC had 3 TO's or 1 TO, you don't spike the ball on that play, just poor coaching. When it is the 10th game you have to be more prepared than DC's coaches were. DC has no speed whatsoever. DC has 2 weeks to prepare for their first round game and maybe they can straighten some things out....good luck to them. The fastest 2 teams HC has faced is Liberty and Springfield, which are also the 2 best teams HC has faced. But it is going to be a different beast playing Northside, Ridgeway, Mitchell, and Melrose. Hopefully we can stay healthy in a totally meaningless Rossview game.

I will also say this, DC got hosed on 2 big calls in the first half. 1-the refs called a block in the back on a punt return and it wasn't a block in the back, horrible call that negated a ton of return yards and flipped the field. 2-HC fumbled a punt return ball and the refs went brain dead and didn't give the ball to DC which would have been good field postion. Take those horrible calls againt DC away and they may be leading at the half and have a chance in the game. Of course DC shoots themselves in the foot constantly with horrible snaps and fumbles and interceptions that have no business being thrown. HC is the better team by far but DC could have given themselves a better chance without the mistakes and the refs mistakes.

they had 2 TO's and it was dumb to waste a play with that much time left, the coaches had time to think of a good play and should have already had a good play in mind if they were good coaches. Wasted a down and wasted a chance at the endzone. Wouldn't have mattered anyway but would have made the score a little closer to help their pride.

DC is awful. When it is your 10th game of the year you shouldn't have 4-5 turnovers and be snapping the ball over the QB's head multiple times and having poor clock management and playing without safeties.

I disagree with you on your dirty dozen that would beat Alcoa, you made it sound they would go 0-12 against that group. That ain't happen'. They would beat some of them. Like Liberty, Northside, and maybe a couple of more. But this conversation is worthless because nobody is ever going to have a schedule like that to see what would happen.

Mentioned Northside, and yes Dyer Co. has been accounted for in Quad 4, The 8 teams in Quad 4 are: Ridgeway, Northside, HC, Hardin Co., Mitchell, Melrose, Craigmont, and Dyer Co. It sucks but those are the teams it is going to end up being because no other 5A west tn team is going to get in.

Wasn't trying to be disrespectful. I just speak my mind and the truth when I get on here. DC just doesn't have any athletes and their coaches aren't the best in the world. One example: 1st and goal with 1:08 left on the clock and DC spikes the ball and wastes a down with two timeouts left. With that much time you can run 6 plays eventhough they only had 4 to score. Wasted a down when that would have given them another shot at the end zone. 2nd example: One of Najee Ray's long runs up the middle was with no safety playing centerfield for DC. When a team is more athletic than you...you better always have a safety deep to prevent big plays and for DC they should have played with 2 safeties all night to prevent big plays because if not for Ray's long runs DC would have been in the game just a little eventhough their offense is anemic at best. Maybe DC will be better next year but I doubt it with their best player being a senior. HC will dominate this weak district again next year.

Wow, its been awhile since I have been on here. Been so bored with our weak schedule. And just like I have said numerous times in the past we are not going to play anyone until the second round of the playoffs. Yes, Shaq is Dominique's brother. Dickson Co. is awful. They will lose first round of the playoffs. Doesn't look like any other 5A west TN team is getting into the playoffs so it looks like Quad 4 is our home, which sucks for a 9-1 team to be a 3 seed. TSSAA for ya. TSSAA is more worried about school location than getting the best scenarios set up for teams. Where you are in the state is more important than your record, that's dumb. We will just have to play better and harder in Quad 4 than we would have in Quad 3.

We will win the game by 21-28 points. NE has athletes every year, what's new. None of the Clarksville schools have good enough coaching to win against HC on a regular basis. NE will finish 4th in the District. They have a good chance of making the playoffs only to lose in the first round. Doubt there will be many posts again this week.

Wow, what a big couple of weeks you Dresden guys have coming up. Going to be very interesting to see how it turns out. I'm sure you guys will be prepared and play hard. Better win the turnover battle with these two teams or it will be another game like the McKenzie one. Good luck to yall.
