Thats the point kids from all over the state and country in some cases were ready to move in and put shelbyville back on top. Coach Clark will be lucky to keep the kids she has. From what I hear Cascade is about to get some transfers.

If Clark could coach she would've got a job at TN.Tech. She had 5 yrs as asst coach at MTSU where they had tremendous success. When the Tech job came open instead of making the choice to go with someone that had played at Tech and won alot there they didnt even give her a sniff. That says volumes. As far as kids liking to play from Tom. Kids fly in from all over the country to play for him. Kalina Lewis who is the first or second ranked player in the 2012 class in the entire country flys in from CALIFORNIA to play for Tom. Ariel Massingill who is the 2nd or 3rd ranked PG in the country comes in from Illinois to play for Tom. These two kids are representing our country on the u17 USA Basketball. So if a kid in shelbyville doesnt respect Tom then maybe that kid cant play.

I am like alot of people in Middle Tennessee in that I just cannot understand how the adminstration at Shelbyville Central HS can pass up Tom Insell for a college coach that has never proven she can coach. The Insell family has given a lifetime of service to the citizens of Bedford Co. Coach and his sons have donated countless hours helping hundreds of kids. Thats what the Insell's do they coach. For the adminstration of Shelbyville Central to end what has been the most successful program in the country is baffling. Coach Clark has no chance of continuing the success. Coach Clark hasnt proven to anybody that she can do anything but sit on the bench and watch Coach Insell do his magic. I can tell you that kids and parents once they spend some time getting to know what Coach Clark stands for will be very disappointed they were denied the chance to play for Tom Insell.
