  1. Hearing that they're playing against a good offensive line (something I didn't see Loudon having), has me worried. Grace's O-line whipped ours despite being undersized. This game could be a very close one if the D-line doesn't step up big time. The option has traditionally given CAK fits, not necessarily resulting in losses every time, but it does give a slight advantage on that side. I think Gibbs will have a very tough time stopping our explosive offense. This one is a little closer than some think, at least for a while, with CAK winning by at least 2 TDs.
  2. Alcoa WILL win. The State Championship was played two weeks ago. Get used to the fact that Alcoa vs. CAK will be and has been the state championship for awhile. Ask the Alcoa players which 3A team is the best after them, they'll tell you. Oh yeah, CPHAGER, ask them after they beat Goodpasture. Might want to start accepting it because Alcoa will be holding up the Gold Ball again this year.
  3. Completely agree. One of the worst feelings of my life. If the defense plays a good game, like they've shown they can, but haven't for all 4 quarters of a big game all year, then this will be CAK's game. That's a big if though. I think the players will have their mind right for this one and pull out a close win.
  4. As a former player for Coach Bradley, I can guarantee you that homecoming is the last thing on the players' minds right now. This will be a huge test for the team. I hope to see the players go out right on Senior Night, although this clearly is not their last game, much less at home (playoffs). Great group of guys that love playing together, really hope to see them get a victory Friday night. I do love Elizabethton's program, tradition, and certainly their atmosphere. Good Luck Warriors!
  5. Hoopla! This will be a great game! Looking to see CAK notch its first win at Loudon since the rivalry began. The series is all tied up at 3 a piece and i'm hoping the Warriors can use this game to take the lead once and for all.
  6. I agree, i'd say that CAK is much more physical than most think and even realize. Most pass-heavy teams are thought to be finesse teams, a good amount are. PS it's "exponentially"
  7. I didn't mean to disrespect Greenback, i did always love games there. In fact yall had our number for the first few games. I do realize that comparing yall to Grace was definitely an inaccurate comparison. I was saying that yall were dirty, but good. When in fact it was only maybe 2 guys i would consider dirty, but then again what team doesnt have at least one dirty player? But i will say Grace has a lot larger percentage of dirty players. And you're correct your kids do come from Greenback. Best of luck to you this season.
  8. In the words of Michael Jordan, who I assume we all respect and can appreciate how great he truly was, "You have to be at least a little cocky to be great." I don't apologize for what I said. I believe CAK will dominate and would at any point in the season this year or last. I'm tired of Grace fans blaming it on the timing of the season or anything else. If you look back at the stats of the game last year, CAK had more penalty yards than Grace did total yards. Grace's KO return for the TD was off a penalized kickoff setting it further back (not to take away from the run, it was a good run). Their O-Line simply got manhandled. A CAK WR dropped multiple receptions of over 35 yards. They poured sewage on our sidelines before the game. Also the refs commented how Grace was much dirtier (no pun intended) than CAK, both verbally and physically. As someone who has been a part of this program since the beginning, I would compare Grace to Greenback, just not nearly as capable of beating us. I do not apologize for my comments. We will see you next week and the scoreboard will once again show CAK is a better team.
  9. Grace can not and will not be able to hang with CAK. Irregardless of the timing of this game, CAK is a much better team, a much better program, has much better coaches, and has much better players. You can play this game anytime of the season and CAK will dominate.
  10. If my memory serves me correctly, it seems like the little Duncan boy was the backup last year.
  11. Alright fellow East TN football fans. Let's get the talk started on what we think's gonna go down in the rematch of last years battle
