  1. You are probably right because the numbers are crazy for a 4 year record. Not impossible but almost.
  2. If you do not know how many games Megan played in and how many innings, then how do you know Lindsey did it in a lot less. Lindsey is a very good pitcher and has accomplished a lot, but I still say you can not compare 4 years to 5 years.
  3. I saw a girl from Franklin hit a ball that barely went foul in Manchester. If it had not gone foul, it would have been an over the fence homerun on a 285ft field. Don't know which girl it was, but it was impressive.
  4. Well, I think many will disagree. When you pitch more games in a season, you are not as fresh as someone who is not overpitched. Yes and while we are at it, single A, AA, and AAA should not be lumped together either. I have not looked at state records, so maybe they are not lumped together. I know there are many outstanding single A teams, but as a whole single A teams should not be compared to AAA teams. Nor should a 5 year career be compared to a 4 year career.
  5. Not trying to take anything away from Lindsey, she is a great pitcher, but it is not fair to other pitchers in the state to count more than 4 years in high school state records. I do not know if other pitchers in the state records have counted more that 4 years, but if they have then those records are not fair. How can you compare a 4 year career to a 5 year career.
  6. Are Fadnek's numbers from 9th-12th or are other years included in those numbers?
  7. I do not know how common it is, but Tanner Sanders started the season with a perfect game against Meigs Co. and started district play with another perfect game. She has also had two more games with only one base runner. One was a bunt and the other was an infield error.
  8. Is there a website that shows who was in tournament and how they placed. I have been looking and can not find one.
  9. Have not kept up TN 16u this year, but how can a 93 team win the 16u. No one on the team can have a 93 birthday and be playing 16u.
  10. That is true. Don't know too many college coaches that even care about high school games in general. I guess I will just have to agree to disagree with the hits and errors.
  11. If you or anyone thinks they could have gotten #4 out on that HIT you are crazy. And yes I do believe SD pads their stats. It seems pretty strange to me that we have only played them twice in two years and they count pretty much everything as a hit. I don't think I am the one that needs a lesson on what is a hit, but thank you anyway. What two plays did you count as errors, because I can think of more than two off the top of my head. I do not keep the stats for our team, I just heard some discussing them and heard 4 errors.
  12. She said it had a funny place on the seems. But he said there was nothing wrong with it. I have just never seen an umpire act like that. I would not have thought anything about it, but he purposly threw it in the dirt out in front of her like it ticked him off. Then he tried to trick her into thinking he threw her a new ball by putting it in his bag moving his hand around and never swapped balls, just threw the same ball back to her. Struck me as strange. Don't think it was because he was for the other team or anything like that, just thought it was unprofessional. I was hoping it would fire our team up, but it was too late. Umpires give pitchers new balls all the time.
  13. I see why Soddy can't keep stats. 13 - 9 is not 6 it is 4. And yes we had 4 errors. I said we did not bring our A game. And no I am not a Clifford Hater. Don't even know the man. Not even a Soddy Hater.
  14. The umpire behind the plate had some sort of a problem with Lincoln County's Pitcher. The Pitcher asked for a new ball and he would not give it to the catcher he threw it over her head and in to the dirt so that the pitcher would have to walk up and bend over and pick it up. The umpire acted as if it made him mad that she asked for one. Then later she asked for another ball and he would not let her have it. It was not like she asked for one everytime she faced a new batter. She probably asked for one 3 or 4 times during the whole game. If the Soddy batters could ask for time and step out of the box constantly, why would he not give the pitcher a new ball. That is not in any way why LC lost, LC did not bring there A game. I just thought it was uncalled for.
  15. I guess SD was padding there stats. When we played them last year, they did the same thing. Yes a bloop is a hit. But there was not 13 of them. Sorry for thinking you were with Soddy. I did not even look to see who had posted the stats. Sorry.
