Lets see we had almost 300 yards rushing on the mighty Blackman defense without our star running back playing much, 4 rushes I think. So dominate, gave you 3 chances with the interceptions and still did not score starting on our side of the 50 2 of the 3 times and once from around our 28 . And that was even without Deon healthy. So I would say DOMINATED yes if Bryson would of been healthy probably would of ended up with around 400 to 500 yards rushing team total. Not to mention the the difference he would of made in your passing game had Bryson played defense all game not just the first half. Correct me if I am wrong I think you guys made most of your yards passing when he was out in the second half. I think our defense held your star running back to around 120 yards on 23 carries about 150 yards less then his average and a total of 74 yards the first game for an average of under 100 yards a game I feel that is BIG TIME DOMINATED because your running back is great no other team held him anywhere close to 100 yards. So give credit where credit is due

To be honest with ya I was a little worried last week our best running back was injured and only ran the ball 4 times. By the way how do you think you would do in the playoffs if your best two running backs did not play?

Well lets see Oakland did not have their best 2 running backs playing against Franklin Blackman did I told a Franklin poster that Blackman had their star running back and to catch him if they could LOL NOT they did not BLACKMAN 42 FRANKLIN 0 Blackman only beat Oakland 17 to 14 when they had their running backs as for where are all those highly ranked 7AAA teams at all in the same Quad had to beat up on each other to make it to the Semis Oh and Riverdale only Finished 4th in the 7AAA

I would not say 3 interceptions is great considering you got the ball on your side of the 50 twice. Our defense played the way the WE HAVE ALL YEAR, GREAT and if our offense would of played great and Bryson would of been healthy the score would of been different. Does not Matter we won!!!!Can't you just say Smyrna is the better team. We stopped you two times. We stopped Brentwood two times and you know the saying it is hard to beat a good team Twice in the same year!!!! I had a feeling that one of the Rutherford county schools was going to be upset. I was scared it was going to be Smyrna because of the way the first game was so close and it is hard to beat a great team twice in the same season. Even tougher when they have great coaching!!!! You know I just had a feeling that tonight one of the big three were going to get upset. Matter of fact I told my grandson on the way to the Smyrna game that one of the Rutherford county teams was going be upset tonight. I was scared it was going to be Smyrna. But they dominated both sides of the ball. Congrats to Franklin, all I got to say is I am sure it would of been a different game had T Mayberry been healthy. That would be like Smyrna playing without Bryson or Blackman playing without the I Train. Franklin took advantage of that and WON!!!Now you know that had to be a big advantage!! I think their weak point is the secondary. Watching them play Blackman I said all along if they where going to beat Oakland it would be thru the air. Did not look like they could defend the pass well at all.

GREAT GAME!!!! Well I think everbody knows now if they didn't, the way to beat Oakland is thru the air. They can not defend the pass. Blackman missed several passes that were open, overthrown or dropped that would of been scores.

Great game plan I always believed the way to beat Riverdale was thru the air. Our defense played a great game other then the offside calls. To hold Riverdale to a season-low 177 yards of total offense -- more than 240 yards less than their season average. Riverdale had been averaging 360.3 rushing yards per game, but was held to 93 yards on 41 carries with only 35 yards of total offense in the second half. Now that is a great defense no matter how you look at it. And our offense really moved the ball all night. GREAT GAME GUYS
