After watching last weeks Lincoln county game, I think the pioneers have mailed this season in. This year has been a major disappointment!! The seniors that were supposed to save pioneer football and win a state championship have underachieved in every aspect of the game and can be replaced. (except Northcutt, he gives his all every game) I'm looking forward to next year because I think we will understand the offense better and not have the negative vibes from this senior class. The freshmen and sophomore's that got game experience this year and with whats coming in from the middle school we will only get better. We got a glimpse of our future QB before he got hurt and he can throw better than anything we have now. The future looks bright for the PIONEERS!!!!!

As of know white county has the better record. If we win out we might get in but if we lose out we are out!

from what i have heard, the youth league has always done it own thing either by talking bad about the previous coaches, to recruiting players away from the middle school. I hate it but it sounds like a lot of parents over there think like the senior parents.... they know more than the real coaches do!!

I guess the playoff dream has been blacked out and the only thing remains is how they will finish the season. The best they can do is another 5-5 season and many wonder if they will give up and finish with a 3-7 season. If they finish 3-7, it will be the worst team in the last 7 years. Whats the word?

Good job PIONEERS!!!!!!! I do think the jets came into the game a little sure of themselves and did jump out to a lead but the pioneers put the smack down on them and put them in their place. PS.... they were the dirtiest playing team we have seen this year. Final score Wc 43 CC 21

I think the coaches have done everything they could to keep this pioneer ship upright but I think with the lack of senior leadership (only 3-4 seniors care) and all the outside influence by parents and fans that the ship is taking on water to fast to save it. The season is shot. How much pride they have remains to be seen!

Tullahoma's last touch down was really uncalled for. I thought they had more class than to rub it in like they did. :unsure:

sounds like thrower will be the only QB this. I heard at school today that the " JR " qb got in some trouble and won't be traveling with the team this week. I think he was to scared and was looking at the d-line instead of looking down field and trying to move around and make plays. It's odd that this post has turned into a what wrong with warren county and not about the game. white county fans are awful quite this week.

If the new coach can change the work habit and heart factor in the young guys, maybe in a few years we will be able too compete. I think its to late for the older guys. The last good group of seniors were the Paz, Dunn, Mullican, Rich....... that bunch had heart. WC will be a contender in a couple of years, just givem time.

I don't think the jr QB looks very comfortable back there and the fr QB will prob win that spot next year. Our biggest problem is we have 6 more games this year!!! The seniors aren't showing they deserve to play either. This week will determine the season. After losing to Coffee we were pretty much out of the playoffs, only a slim chance. If we lose to white county it is over!

If the coaches are smart they will leave Thrower at QB. He did a good job. I think he is our only choice if we expect to win because we don't have another option at QB. The only one that even looked halfway good was a freshmen that threw 4 picks and he is hurt. We still need a line that can block, even a little will help.

Have the wheels come completely off? I have never seen the boards so quite.

O-line is prob the biggest disappointment this year. I don't know why but it is. We looked pretty good in the 7 on 7 this summer but thats only 2 hand touch. Maybe the head coach needs to put a little time coaching them up.

Thrower is a player! He might screw around during the week but when the lights come on Friday night he is ready to play and its a **** a lot better than we have had the last 3 games. Give the boy a shot!!!

So are you mad at the coaches or the paper??????? Or the younger guys for working harder????? Everybody was ready to run last years offense out of town when really we should be running it now. At least the players knew what to and it was successful last year. But I like the idea that in a couple of years we will able to run the spread and pass da ball!!

It's about putting the best 11 on the field. If some younger guys work harder in practice and earn that spot then so be it.

The biggest key for WC this week is if Rhea and Martin will be back. A poor defense without those 2 is a bad defense.

Refs didn't throw any body out except the 1 player. I don't see how they could go back and enforce penalty's that were not called.

I do think with the freshmen QB we have a better chance of throwing the ball, I still don't see him getting enough time to do much. The line is not getting it done and I don't care how many D1 prospect you have, we can't block worth a crap this year. Did that many graduate last year to make this line so bad? I thought we had some starters returning. What ever the case we aint getting it done up front. FC 21 WC 14
