Yes I agree. Everywhere I go it's all you hear. Coach Cook. From all I hear and to all I have spoken to Coach Cook deserves his shot. Without a doubt a BIG Rhea County favorite. Administration do whats right here and give this coach the oppurtunity he deserves.

Time to get behind these players and the program.

I agree here. When it comes to the facts very few know the real deals. They assume. But personal attacks are uncalled for. Like Caldwell said we that are supporters of our sport of choice need to be envolved and help out. Thats the way it used to be and there was no issues.

It's my understanding that there are alot more than a few on the Cook bandwagon. Without a doubt would be a great fit. If the administration cares any at all about the program and the williness of the community support with the program then they need to hire Coach Cook as the new head coach. As Unsilent said. People outside of Rhea County see's his potential. So let's don't pass up the chance.

If what I have heard is true they need to offer Coach Cook the job. At this point going to be hard to land a big name coach. And unless they were holding out on the coach's that stepped down they don't have the money to search much if any. Do the right thing for the players, the program and the community and bring Coach Cook in as the new head coach. The community support the team hasn't been getting will most likely change overnight.

Well if this is to do with the higher ups than maybe the people of Rhea County need to look at making a change. This is terrible.

Bird people like supereagle is an old want to be that takes a stab at the program every chance they can.

Rhea Co looks like you for one are staying on top of it. I really don't think no one without ties will get the job. To late. Coach Allen I'm sure want leave Central at this point. As you say Coach Cook is a good option. Coach O would be a good candidate as OC for Cook.

BigBird4 this is what you get with change. Started with baseball and softball. You get new administration in and they want there people in.

This is something that should have already been done. How can you keep these players focused on being competitive when your administration is in a whirlwind.

Let me say this. I love Rhea County football and always will. I like Coach Fitzgerald he is a good person. But I think it is time he showed how much he loves Rhea County football. If it takes personal change than so be it. I really think coach wants to do great I really do. He is football smart unlike some under him. If he is planning on repeatedly staying on top he is going to have to make some changes. And no it's not going to come down to athletes. Great coach's make athletes and great athletes make coach's.

I heard the boys did good at the scrimmage. My question is who is going to be in charge this season? Sounds as if coach looking to leave.

Congrats to the Williams kid. Rhea Co. would be the one to update on the in coming freshmen. I think he posted earlier on possible ones.

If Coach Fitzgerald was to leave which I doubt very seriously it happens. My personal opinion would be that they need to persue Coach Cook.

I have read all these post on the Clinton coach search. I will say this. Those of you on the Hammontree wagon better think real hard on it. He Is Not the guy you all need. One of the worst mistakes Rhea County made was hiring him as Head Coach. My self I hope you guys find the right fit, but trust me it's not Hammontree.
