The offense has struggled but I think they have improved. The quarterback is just so young and he is making sophmore mistakes but that will change with time. Last yr the offense was pretty good because they had experience in the skilled positions I believe and the defense couldnt stop anybody just the way the game goes when you have youth running the show on O. The defense has played good stopping the run but the pass defense isnt very good but what can you expect with them having all guys in the box except for the corners and safety. They better be careful doing that against HV because they can throw the ball using playaction. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS!

I really dont see eskridge missing this game. Im sure they want revenge for losing to karns last yr so I bet he will be playing. I say this game will come down to the 4th quarter and who will cause the most turnovers. Still not sure who will win just because it should be a war for 4 quarters. Karns will win if they can control eskridge which they have done a descent job with stopping the run but I think the main key for they to win is stopping the playaction pass that Hardin Valley likes to use.

This has the potential of being a great game. I know H.V. has the better record but I'm not sure records count in this game. I have not decided who will win this game and I'm sure everybody else will pick H.V. but this game could be alot closer than expected. Karns will give H.V. all they want and H.V. will gladly give it back. The running game is very good for H.V. but Karns defense is no pushover so this will be interesting. This is a rival game and these teams do not like each other at all so it should be a great game to go to. Good luck to both teams

Im going with AC on this one. I think the passing attack is to good for hardin valley and Im still not sold on the hawks. I will say that HV will have success running on the A.C. There defense is a little soft and HV will create some running lanes but at the end of the day it comes down to td's and williams throws 5 and they win 35-24

Karns doesnt sound like they are getting any respect from anyone. I bet they give Oak Ridge a good game for awhile but Oak Ridge will pull it out.

Yea Im gonna have to say Maryville beats Catholic. This game makes Catholic realize they are not as good as they think they are and that they are not ready to play with the big boys. They really should realize that after the Webb game though. Maryville defense is solid and there offense is to consistent but I will say the first half is played close but the final outcome will be 34-17 Maryville

Yea im not seeing Karns pulling this one out. They have won 3 games out of there last 4 but Oak Ridge just seems to tough. There defense is really good and they could out physical karns defense. Oak Ridge 24 Karns 10

I am saying Powell beats Hardin Valley 42-10. It will not be as close as people think because HV has no QB and they cannot throw the ball. From what it looks like nobody can score on Powell and I really doubt it that HV can just run the ball and beat them. Powell will stack the box and dare HV to throw. HV showed they will struggle now not having a QB just beating a bad central team 10-0. HV true colors will show friday and people will realize they are not as good as advertised. This game could get ugly fast!

Right! I dont think one yr could fix the program but one positive yr can do alot for it though. The kids just need something postive and so do the coaches. It could be them winning 2 or 3 games at the end of the yr just to give them something to build on. Its amazing what momentum can do at the end of the yr rolling into the next yr and even the offseason.

I remember the days when south-doyle had the malone brothers, cassius minnifield, the snyders at quaterbacks, kenny harper, choo choo parker, big oline and dline, and when they had all those track guys that could fly playing football. They were spread all over the field and they would compete with anybody. Yea those were in the 90's and early 2000's but the tallent was there. They dont have those type of players no more. In those days they would beat AE and kids wanted to be at south-doyle not fulton or AE. Time has changed and all it takes is one good year to get some players back in South-Knox

Well i dont think the beavers stand a chance but if they do its important that they slow down powell at the beginning of the game. If powell comes out quick and strikes early with a couple of td's it will be a long night. If karns can control the clock and cause some turnovers anything can happen. Towe has to play smart and he has improved but the running game of karns has improved also. I would like to see a descent game atleast for a half. I bet the beavers surprise some people this week even if they dont win. I saying they play this game alot closer that most people think. Karns coaches have done a good job these last two weeks getting the kids prepared and making adjustments to get some wins so Im sure they will have something for the panthers.

Congrats to the Karns beavers for winning there second game but now they got to face powell. Do the beavers have a chance at all? If they want to have a chance they have got to slow down the game and stop the running attack. The beavers have improved but not sure they can pull the upset. It will be homecoming and the excitement will be there can this help the beavers pull the upset? Last yr Karns put a beatdown on the beavers and I bet the panthers are looking for revenge. Any score predections?

Yea Karns really needed that win that was great for the kids. It might give them some momentum going into central which is a descent team but beatable. And who cares if the team they beat wasnt great but its still a step forward for the program and the new coach. Just funny with all the certain so called fans that come on here dogging the program has nothin to say but if they had lost they would be the first ones on here! CONGRATS TO THE BEAVERS!!! I think the problem with south-doyle is they just dont have the players they use to have. Back in the late 90's and even early in the 2000's they had some really good players. They are lacking size and athletes. You just cant win games without those kids no matter who is coaching. Duncan is a proven coach so all the blame cannot go on him. The community support i think is not bad. It could be worse because SD has not won a game in awhile so the community is still backing the cherokees. SD is just got to find a way to get those athlets back to that school that they use to get. And on the coaches that they have and if they do not want to be there yes that is a problem but that is not something you can say without knowing it for sure. That school needs coaches that want the challenge to turn it around. There are alot of great coaches that started at schools like South-Doyle and that is why they are great now. Getting coaches that are from that area could also be a great thing. Support the kees and there coaches

this will be a tight game maybe even go down to the last drive. Special teams will play a big role in this game maybe a fake punt or even a missed PAT. QB play is the question for the beavers. They need to limit the turnovers but towe has gradually improved in each game. The karns offense is really lacking big play ability players which means they need to be able to drive the ball without penalties consistently. That has been the problem that I have seen. Im not sure that it is x's and o's that the coaches put together but the players need to execute. Campbell county in the past has ran the option and if i remember when william blount started running the option the Karns defense had no answer. So I think this game will come down to karns stopping the run and Karns offense playing mistake free and start an early running game to open up there passing attack.
