I was thinking about this as I was driving home from school today. What would be your starting five for region 1 in A and AA since 2001. You can use Sullivan Central and Volunteer players since they were in our region and in AA until last year. Here is my team and coach... We got our money's worth tonight, but it didn't have anything to do with the Hampton/Unaka game. Unaka looked pitiful, and that is being very nice. Heck, the Rangers didn't even score in the 1st quarter and only had 7 points at halftime. Hampton ended up winning by like 30. But the Cloudland/UH game was awesome. I was glad to see the Landers win it. The Big Blue Alliance definately dominated the night...

it would have to be hampton or cloudland. unaka, elizabethton, or happy valley arent good enough to go anywhere. the next 2 regions are weak in 1A. i really believe that 2 of the 3 teams in our 1A region(university high, cloudland, hampton) will be in the state tournament. the next regions are just that weak...

If Hampton comes ready to play, they should win rather easily from what I have heard. Everybody from Cloudland has told me that the Dawgs should have no problem with Coalfield. People from Cloudland have also told me that they are not going to come to the game because they KNOW that Hampton will win and they do not want to waste $7 just to watch a game in which they know what is going to happen.By the way, these Highlanders HAVE SEEN BOTH TEAMS PLAY, and I believe they would know who has the upper hand.

If Jonah Horney would have stayed in the game, Cloudland would have won too. If Coalfield turns the ball over this week like they have the past 2 weeks Hampton will beat their brains in. Hampton will score a lot of points if they keep turning the ball over. Here's a tip, stop ADAM TOWNSEND, lol. Should be a god game.

HAHA!!! Coalfield win big.HAHA!!! Don't make me laugh. If Hampton comes to play like they did this week and the defense keeps playing great, Hampton will win. I guarantee you this, Coalfield wil not stop Hampton from running the ball, and they will not run the ball on that great DAWGS defense. I have never seen a defense that hits as hard Hampton's does. Martin Winters and Jon Potter will flat out nail you. If anybody could have stopped their running game, it would have been Cloudland, they had a god defense. But Coalfield will not stop them. I am not counting my chickens before they hatch. I know Hampton will have a tough game tonight and against whoever they play in the 3rd round. Really, at the start of the playoffs, I didn't think that Hampton would make it out of the 2nd round and Cloudland wouldn't beat Midway. That is only because I thought Region 2 was as strong as they were last year when they routed everybody in region 1. After the 1st round I have seen that they are not as good as last year. I just hope Hampton and Cloudland play again so everybody can see Hampton play "good," because I do not believe that they played well against Cloudland or Sunbright for that matter.

Okie Dokie, I hope to see Cloudland and their "air attack" again in the 3rd round. That is if the Landers come ready to play and beat the Jackets and the Dawgs don't get upset.

I hope Cloudland can win again just so Hampton can beat them again. All I have been hearing is (even though Hampton beat them) Cloudland is still the better team. I seen Cloudland play 2 or 3 times this year and they haven't impressed me yet. I believe when they played Hampton they play alittle "above themselves" that game. There is no way that they could ever pas that way again. Some people have even told me that Hampton played their best that night to beat Cloudland. HAHA!!!! That is absurd. Hampton has not played their best game all year. The closest they came to playing their best was against Happy Valley. They should have beaten the Warriors worse than they did, but 2 miscues inside the 5 yard line didn't help. Hampton came ready to play that night. As for Cloudland, they have already played their best game. AGAINST HAMPTON!!!!!

I just saw on ESPN where Vince Redd was suspended indefinately by The University of Virginia. I was just wondering if anybody has any idea what he did to get suspended?

I heard Potter come back to practice today. Was he hitting in pull pads and going at full speed, or was he just running through the motions? Either way I am glad he is back.

Traveling should not have much to do with it. It should come down to who is the best team and who wants it more.

Hampton will come out pumped up an ready to play. I do not believe that they will play dead 3 weeks in a row.

How can you not get pumped up about a rematch.
