It's making the rounds at the schools. Trying to get a media type to confirm.

Word is that the officiating crew has been banned from playoff games for two years based on their performance the other night. Gryphnation and Bartlettsgrad described exactly what happened - it was surreal - couldn't believe what I was seeing. Generally, the crew was weak and obviously could be intimidated by a coach. How does a crew like that end up calling the state semifinal game? From what I've read and been told about Webb, they will run at will on ECS. They don't have the size up front they used to have. Rooker and Jones are studs, though.

You should be playing St. George's. They got completely hosed tonight by the refs. You will destroy ECS.

Not sure why you singled out St. George's, but the Gryphons will give it their best in their division. We'll have our hands full next week with Davidson Academy in the state semi-finals. Good luck to MBA in their division - oh, I guess that'll have to wait until 2011.
