Some great games on this side of Tennessee. FRA v Grace Christian, Webb v Knox Catholic, DCA v Boyd-Buchanan, and Davidson v CPA. Great chance for DII to cause some stir with an upset or two. Who do you think can pull it out?

Why is everyone so judgmental in this situation? BGA is moving for the same reason that Webb and ECS moved. Hopefully this will raise the level of play from all the schools so we can enjoy a competitive league rather than one or two schools domination. The large difference in enrollment causes competative challenges at both levels in DII. I also think it is a little early to stack up the harware for any team. Paper teams always look good, but you still have to play the games first.

St. George is coming into Friday's semi-final with an 11-0 record while DA stands 8-3. What type of game do you expect this to be? From past matchups we should see a hard fought and close game, but this is today so who do you think is going to play in Cookeville?

Just for accuracy Davidson Academy has 220 students in its upper school not 300. And the idea that a loss to them would effectively end a season is a disservice to both schools. Despite Davidson’s size they have proven to be more than capable of beating the majority of their opponents large and small. I would like to remind everyone that only 11 players come onto the field…I guarantee that DA is sending 11 ready to play! Are you?
