  1. I would like to congratulate Henry County for a great season! You did prove a lot of Big Red Nation wrong this year including myself. Proud of each and every one of you! GO BIG RED! P.S. Wish I knew to bring a clear visor for #78. Hope your eyes are o.k.
  2. It's going to be a close one......however, those of you thinking that this is the same HC team who lost to Gallatin last year are dead wrong! Same uniform (except logo), different team. We rotate 2 QB's, 2 or 3 RB's, and to my knowledge no one plays both sides of the ball. Not as one dimensional as we seemed last season. I take HC by 10.....GO BIG RED!
  3. I truly wanted home field advantage for most of the playoffs.....and to think we might eventually play Northside away in Jackson. What a load! The away stands must of been designed by a 6 year old! Oh and by the way.....GO BIG RED!
  4. Good job keeping focus and getting the job done BIG RED!
  5. Due to my business, I have to miss another Patriot football game. I will listen to it on the radio. HC 35-NE 7. GO BIG RED!
  6. Back at ole Patriot Stadium! Too bad I have to miss this game.....gotta go to Knoxville tomorrow bright and early. My score: HC 42-WC 7. I would not be surprised if Henry County kept them scoreless. Yall got to remember...it is West Creek's first time coming to experience where BIG RED calls home. I see that being one of the factors in this one. I will be listening to it on the radio. GO BIG RED!
  7. No they are not Memphis Fairley nor Pearl Cohn.....they can actually stay in tune past 2 seconds! Those two bands have as much musicality as the FOG HORN at the home games!
  8. I stated that I wasn't blaming them. I just saw a third quarter surge when they weren't playing. I mean, it is not every Friday that a band the size and sound of ours is blaring a mere 5 feet in our coach's headsets. Your barking up the wrong tree and yes, he IS clever.
  9. I noticed we started scoring when the band was at break in the 3rd. My guess is that the staff could communicate better. No knock on the band, more like a knock on that stadium. I was about 2 feet from the players and I could have given my own pep talk! Oh, and GO BIG ORANGE!! BEAT THE FELONS!
  10. By balanced I mean not just one particular formation but several. And yes, I too would rather run. GO BIG RED!
  11. Well guys, I guess I will throw in on this too. Henry County, if you haven't heard, runs a completely different Offensive scheme from the last few years. No more is the Spread Option offense. We run a very complete, balanced playbook. However, what makes it different from many other team in the state is that Henry County has many fresh legs go in and go out. Our running backs are fast even if they are the bulldozer brought in to get the 3rd in 1. Our quarterbacks are athletes who are getting better every game. No one player plays both Offense and Defense( If there is one, I haven't noticed yet). I really don't see them being stopped in this one. I say HC 38, Springfield 7. I don't feel jaded by my decision, but any given Friday, anything can happen. GO BIG RED!
  12. Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de La Fayette buried in France under soil from Bunker Hill!
