It's better than the tent. Teams have always had the option of dressing at the school (like our guys do) and walking up, but most are too lazy.

I wouldn't keep my mowers in that shed. I keep 'em over in the nice building.

Good too see you as always. I wish the Webb game was in Chattanooga. That will be a good one. I didn't know Meadows was back on the staff. A lot of former Bucs at ND now.

Finally home from the 4 mile walk to my car and almost 2 hr drive home. Got to see our Redskins have a record amount of penalties (blocking too hard calls a punt return touchdown back lol). Spent 14 dollars to get in after 4 dollars just to park (thank God my wife didn't drive with the rest of the family cause then I would be out 12 more dollars lol). Too see us in a daze 1st quarter then watch Signal try to start 20 fights (they had an ejection on a hit 5 min after the whistle). Good Lord hopefully in 2 yrs we get realigned so we don't have to go back. BTW I think I am going to put in a city ordinance if you have Hamilton county tags and you come to a Loudon game (unless your from Breinard but we can spot your 3 cars) you will be charged 10 dollars to park and pay an extra dollar a gallon for gas....lol

I was told directly that SP tried to schedule Signal Mountain and was turned down. I don't think this one was Coach Grider's fault. He wanted it to happen.

Only the coaches know for sure, and they all lie. I never believe anything a football coach says.

Whitwell is back to being the under dog this week . Not a lot of people giving credit to Whitwell Defense. Have only allowed 95 total yards , 6 first downs and 0 TDs far this season. This week will be a bigger test and a different style of offense. Also can Signal tackle the three backs Whitwell have for four qtrs? Should be a good game.
Not sure Whitwell is the underdog in this one. Probably two equal, but different style teams. Should be a competitive and exciting game. Can Signal stop the run game of the Tigers? Can Whitwell stop the high-flying spread game of the Eagles?
-
Whutwul seems to have a very good power run game and a very stout defense against the run, but they haven't faced very stiff competition yet.
I like the way we match-up against the Tigers. This should be a competitive and exciting game that could go either way, but I'll pick Signal by a couple of scores.

expected North Red Bank Mountain to be in this thing a lot more than that

They had all their studs on the field as best as I could tell. They executed well and played mistake-free football. When they are playing up to their potential, these Lions will be a tough out against most AAA teams.
We're headed in the right direction, but we're no match for the athletes they put on the field.

Ah, gotcha. I know what a trencher is, and I know that the line of scrimmage is sometimes referred to as "the trenches," but in all my years I've never heard linemen referred to as trenchers. Anyway, never know when you're going to learn something new.
With that clarification of your question, the answer is "no." The only starter the Warriors have lost to injury thus far is a DB. Only one returning starter on the OL. Just very young and inexperienced as a unit.
You won't learn much from ole Booger. He just makes it up as he goes.
I was watching Farragut vs MoWest last night, and they referred to Farragut's stud tailback as a CAK transfer. Is that true?

Does Bledsoe get the gate money and I wonder how much or if Boyd is charging them to use their field? I know it's a region game so it has to be played.
This makes no sense at all. Giving up what would most likely be the best home gate of the year. Won't be many Warrior fans (Blue or Purple) traveling to Boyd to watch the game. They'll be lucky to take in enough to cover whatever Boyd is charging them.
On top of that, Bledsoe's best chance in this game would be on a muddy, sloppy field. I think yer AD must have been a little too deep in the jug when he agreed to this move.

it is a parent that North Red Bank Mountain is showin slight signs of maybe comin outta that basement...not sure bout that last win yet.....that Rams coach that wears them tube socks says they were supposed to be special.....but til they can prove they are worthy and capable; this battle for second place in that region has to go to North Red Bank Mountain's Mother School at the bottom of the hill
.....Lions win
thats a Booger Pickin
You sure that's a Booger Pickin?

Time for the Eagles to fly off the mountain and battle the Lions.
Red Bank looked pretty good against a strong Soddy Daisy team, but played pretty sloppy against Central.
Signal's defense has looked good this year except for a couple of busted coverages against East Hamilton. Our offense has looked spectacular at times, but has stumbled at times.
With the athletes they have all over the field, there is no doubt Red Bank will be favored; but, if Signal can execute more consistently on offense and the defense continues to play well, I think we can pull off the upset in this very important Region 3 matchup. I predict special teams play will be the difference in this one.

Solid 27-7 win by my Eagles tonight. We cleaned up the turnovers from last week, but still need to execute better and be more consistent on offense. I have been very proud of the defense this year. A couple of busted coverages last week but none this week. The secondary played very well tonight. I have been most impressed with the strength of the defensive front against the run. I thought Tyner would be able to run the ball better, but the defensive front shut them down when necessary tonight. Overall a performance the guys should be proud of.
Granted, Tyner did not execute well and shot themselves in the foot numerous times tonight, but still a solid win for my Eagles.
Hopefully, this win will boost the guys confidence and keep them moving in the right direction. Enjoy it for a day or two, but then it's time to start preparing for a very good Red Bank team. If we can clean up a few things and execute more consistently on offense, I like our chances next week.
Oh yea, a big shout out to our kicker, #19 Scott Payne. It's nice to put the opponent on the 20 every kickoff and avoid any runbacks. Being able to rely on the field goal inside of 40 yards don't hurt, either. A junior this year, this kid will get some serious D1 offers.

Once again, you are wrong my little leprechaun buddy. Last week was homecoming. We got our QB back in the second quarter of that game, but it was another woulda, coulda, shoulda game for my Eagles.
The East Ridge game is at their newly renovated field, deep in the heart of Notre Dame's recruiting territory. The Pioneers are undefeated on the season and are coming off of a bye week, so I expect this to be another tough game for Signal. I can only hope that they are overlooking the Eagles as they prepare for next week against Anderson County, but that is unlikely for a Tim James team. I haven't seen many write-ups on East Ridge this year, but I know there are a few talented players that slipped through Fant's net and chose the orange and black over that gaudy green and gold.
If we can clean up some of the mistakes and play smarter, this will be a competitive game. If not . . .
