The way York players acted tonight was a disgrace to the good name of Alvin C York.

I think that should start with the officials. They had absolutely no control. I am a proud of the Dragons for the year they had but I am disappointed in the lack of discipline tonight. Hate to see it end for this group of seniors they have been fun to watch the last couple years.
That was the first thing I thought of when i was watching/listening to the game. These poor seniors……

It was bad from the very beginning. A lot of chippy stuff then a mini brawl broke out on the ER sideline. Cleared the field and warned both sides. Later another broke out and ER got one tossed and York had 2 thrown out. Apparently one of Yorks went after an official after the game and allegedly an ER assistant hit a York player and the mom is pressing charges.Basically just another Friday night in Jamestown
Best line all night

heck of a comeback effort , win or lose
I agree. A team is fortunate to convert one onside kick and then score let only twice

Can’t beat anyone when you only get 2-3 penalties in your favor. East is a good team but we were pretty evenly matched athlete wise
are we watching the same game? The ER players dwarf the York players. The penalties are about even

We’re waiting on the proof. The word those implying multiple people said it, it shouldn’t be hard to come up with 1 example. Most of us have seen him live by now. And we would have all hopped on them if they said “he wasn’t that good” that young man is amazing to watch, he’s gonna be a problem for any opposing team, if he doesn’t already have offers they will be Rolling in soon.
I agree. SW best us 62-0 but it didn't seem like they were trying to run up the score the young man was much playing his game

Don’t think I could put him back out on the field if I was coach and look his parents in the eyes later. It could have been a very bad outcome!
I agree. NO GAME is worth risking the young man’s health over

Young man is cool as a cucumber out there, goes through progressions and has a cannon, pretty fun to watch, plus he is only a soph., do not see high school QBs that young that have that kind of composure very often...
I agree the young man is very composed

I do think with how York runs the ball ER’s senior LB will have a huge game. Not #2 but the other one….can’t remember his name but that kids got heart and a motor that won’t quit.
@jerrylawless3 his name is Dallas isn't it?

I will say ER O line is big and fast, sometimes a little too fast. Watching them Friday night I was impressed with their speed, but every now and again #0 would loose the edge trying to make a big play in the backfield. You could see he knew it and that’s a good thing because he’s young and correcting himself. ER will fly to the ball too and have LB’s that will clean up the run and the DB’s looked great in run support.
Watching a little of York they do a great job of misdirection and QB play running out of that funky formation they use.
@DbCooper I saw where I missed two calls from you this weekend. I had the ringer turned off on the phone. Give me a call tomorrow

Playing clean is part of football. Sometimes ER does it, and sometimes they don't.
