Heard We are having trouble getting games. Greenfield turned yellow. South Fulton schedule filled. I hope Trenton and Halls still want a game. I think we got Westview, Gibson and maybe riverside....adamsville is a long drive and with our bus drivers not showing up til 4:15 we would struggle to get there for pregame. Would love to get a Union City or an obion on the schedule. Westview is on Thursday at UTM stadium both years. We don't match up with their speed, but dang its good to have our weakley county big brother on the schedule. Should be good for the county and the kids. Coach Hewett doing his best to get schedule done. Wish football was year a round. Skip the two BB sports. Dresden NATION>...(all 4 of us) hope next season gets here quick!

Playoff football, pound the ball, no turnovers, and tough defense. McKenzie just gave a lesson in football 101. Impressive program. Impressive coaching. Would like to see the ratio of run to pass for the last 20 state champs in 2a. Wish they were in a different district. They don't rebuild, they reload. Lucky terds!

Well, to keep from annoying other topics with our whining, here is a place for all you dresden fans to get excited about. "there is always next year" lol Got some very good kids coming back next year. Lineman have a chance to have more depth (if they get their behinds in the weight room), Linebackers should be decent, half of our defensive backfield is back, and losing qb and 24 may mean a focus on the run game...thank goodness. Pretty sure we will add Westview to the schedule and maybe stewart county and gibson still there along with Huntingdon and McKenzie should be very challenging. Gleason has a really good bunch of young kids and their middle school program has been awesome so that could be tough. Bruceton is back. Not too sure what West carroll looks like next year. I hope coach hewett adds a Union City or South Fulton to the mix.. they are good teams that are close. I counted 10 upperclass offensive lineman might be back if they can make it to workouts all summer. Huge junior class next year is the wildcard. If they step up and work hard they can make us decent. We have about 7 that will be seniors and almost all are two way players...hope they don't have to be two way next year. Sophmores have a few who are tough kids, may even push for starting positions. Freshmen...well, they are freshmen. Gonna take a year to get strong and used to the speed, work load, and hitting. We are in desperate need for speed. Hard to play against the McKenzies, westviews, and riversides without speed. Go Lions!

Congrats riverside. You were the better team tonight. Too much 18 for us. Had no answer for him. Lions, proud of you all. Love this group of seniors and will miss you. Looking forward already to next season. Heads up. Its a game! Focus on fun stuff....hunting, fishing, MATH, and family. Your in my prayers. GO LIONS!

11 penalties and fumbling because you got abused for 3 quarters. You grinded the clock last game but the gates were shut at the endzone. Grounded is correct...now we finish the job by burying you. THE LIONS ARE HUNGRY!

Well, lets play football! Just in case the best team doesn't win again....You guys did really well cheering for us and charting our game...offer is there to continue the next friday so you don't get bored sitting at home.

I agree. Forrest was a classy, strong, and physical team. Not sure who that poster was, but I know the lions had big time respect for Forrest after Friday. Glad we don't have them in our district. Now, on to the topic....Mckenzie doesn't make big mistakes to lose games. MTP better play the same way. Every time you make a mistake against McKenzie they seem to get points. We are working our way to trying to be more like that, but the rebs have been that way for years. If MTP beats McKenzie, it won't be because McKenzie beats themselves. Very impressive staff and team there. And, if mtp is knocked out it means we will definately have a west tennessee school in the title game. YAY! Go Rebels!

He singled himself out with the chest bounces..several before the game. His falling was just icing. Embarrassing was the pregame celebration. If you want to pump yourself up, do it in the locker room. Heck, you can run around the stadium in your superman pajamas for all I care, but you will get called on it if you do it in front of Dresden. We ain't too politically correct out here. Just honest.

We will test the 9 out 10 theory Friday. I figure it will change and become 8 out of 10 after friday. Maybe riverside can do a few more chest bounces in pregame and not fall down carrying the flag out. Our district doesn't get into that celebration crap...we just hit you. Keep the fan chants for soccer. This is football!

Yep, i bet you would beat them 9 out of 10 games. They just had a good pep talk and came out a little more motivated.

Saw Riverside cheering for us. I'm sure its for revenge, but we do appreciate it. Looking forward to this game. Riverside is very physical. Fast. Pretty much a state contender. Dresden is hitting their stride at the right time of year. Should be a great game!

Tough, tough team we beat tonight. Not a sixth seed in my book. The physical team came out on top. Defense made plays, and the offense showed they can run and pass. Offensive line kept a huge d line off the qb tonight. So proud of these kids! Forrest, get home safe. You guys were strong and tough. Not one of these Lions had played in a playoff game. Keep winning boys! GO LIONS!

Christmas weather in Dresden. Bring the sleds in case of snow. Boys are nervous. Not one has played in a playoff game. Hope they bring their A game. Go Lions! Proud of you guys!

Tell the gate you need handicap parking and they will direct you down towards the fieldhouse next to the field. Enjoy the game

] \ \I have to say...where is the love? Now rocket fans, hold hands and sing "we are the world". I think you should put the third string guy in to settle this. hahaha. And no, I had nothing to do with that parent post, but I agree....it does seem...fishy. But, you never know...there may be a parent that is that confident and wants to express it. Nothing wrong with that. Politically correct world has made people be polite and dishonest at times to not hurt feelings. I don't think any of the talk on here matters. If a team can't get fired up for a playoff game without extra motivation, they aren't going too far.
