Union City begins the season tomorrow as they face Jackson South Side your thoughts about this game.

halftime hbt.... 17 uc....7 uc ended the first half strong if they bring that out in the second half then uc will be in this game. what happened to the huge crowed they were suppose to have it looks like a poor one

exactley mr. bigster thats all humboldt has said that trenton is bad because of their record. I think that if union city exicutes then they will win but if they dont it depends. but cant wait for the game it will be a good one.

no they are making it sound like we lost to a bad trenton team so if humboldt is as dominant as they think then why didnt they beat them worse than 10 points. well we will see friday.

qb club prez the veer is a hard offence to defend it took us from a team that was having a hard time getting past the first round to being state champs 2 years later coach bowling has well over 100 wins so I would have to say he too is a coach tha knows how to win games and the veer is a great and tough offence if ran right. and as far as strength of schedule what does that have to do with anything it would have ment something if humboldt did beat henry county, milan, and mckenzie but didnt humboldt just did get by lake co. which I'm still not convince with them and only won by 10 over trenton a bad team then yall should of ran away with that game. Cut down the penalties and turnovers uc could of easly been 6-0 this year. I would like to see yall face obion county and tca and tell me it was easy to beat them.

roy why do you keep calling us union county? its union city and I agree we had some strong kids last year but we're not that strong yet but I expect they will be as strong or stronger than last year. I did notice some of our players hit the weights cause they are bigger than last year like hyde who was listed at 5'9 175lbs. this year he is listed at 5'10 215lbs so he got to the weight room alot.

dont be messing around with me purple and gold standard lol. but your right our defence is key but our offence other than a couple games have struggled a little bit but hope we will be ready come friday. you going friday?

purple & gold you were right trigg co. is only 1-5 I think I looked at the wrong school thanks for correcting me. by the way refresh my memory I dont remember talking about a vicking club. in this game our young team has to step up cause we are into the important games from here on out and every game is a must win to be able to win our district for a third year in a row and get home field in the playoffs.

actually zebra I'm not a kid I'm 28 but thats ok. but my last post wasnt aimed toward you it was aimed towards butchie he thinks I dont know anything about my team that I have followed since 1994 I was coached by one of the greatest coaches that union city has had in coach randy barnes. he had the same game plan in running the ball only passed it about 5 times a game and now with the system coach bowling brings in takes me back to the years where we just ramed the ball up the middle and off the edge just a different way. but I thank you for welcoming me zebra

first of all I knew union city had a team cause I played for them from 1997-2000 where we went a combined record of 52-6 I wore #80 with state championship appearances and believe me we loved kicking the vikings butt during that time. Yes humboldt is better and we are not as good but I still predict a shootout with union city winning by 3. I am new to this but have been following it since high school and decided to join in so thanks for your great welcome but it wont decide anything so trash talk all you want and I'll do the same and come friday we will see who the best really is.

first how many yards does hyde have? and second lets talk about what union city can do to hurt you. union city is young but talented they have no size but do have speed to back it up in total with have lost by a combined 12 points in 3 games which we should have won. now lets get to humboldt a team that beat trenton who beat us. during that time union city has realized that they cant loose another district game so expect union city to come in to vicking country and kick some vicking tail lol. its only fitting to warn you vicking fans we have the triple threat. you have been warned and we'll see you friday. lets see union city beat trigg county who by the way is 3-3 and in second in their district they beat huntingdon who just beat a good dresden team last night. I have a cousin that lives in hayti and they told me their record is the way it is cause they have played a weak schedule and they have no compatetion in their district at all. Union City could easily be 6-0. lost to trenton by missed extra points lost by 1 lost to central by a late touchdown 5 points and to a good tca by 6 points so as young as union city is they are hanging in there so dont diss UC cause it might come back and haunt you.

first of all roy its union city. and no we are not as good as last year we did loose basicaly all our starters but 2 on both sides. this team is real young 5 starters are sophmores 4 are juniors and only 2 are seniors. will are rebuilding this year but give it a couple years and we will be competeing for our second gold ball. let me put this out there as well that our middle school team are going for a perfect regular season tuesday when they take on martin, so great talent coming up next year. union city will be back again just you wait.

when you say round ball do you meen basketball? If so their girls are the only ones worth anything their boys basketball team isnt they always find themselves at the bottom of the district just like they are in football. so greenfield fans be prepared to be blown out.

lets put it this way humboldt will be good as always but expect some upsets in the district this year cause Union City may not be the same team from 2003-2006 with 2 state championships but they will bring everything they have this year.
