Evans, Hewett, Ritz, Cruse, and new volunteer from Henry County? have been helping Rang. From what I can tell at practice,(which is not very much) defense seems pretty dang solid. Looks like they're trying to not have players go both ways on o-line/d-line, but a school our size usually has no choice. Oline needs work, but it'll get there. Great spring for the Lions in my opinion. Really good season ahead. I'm practically chomping at the bit. We should be able to run/pass/sing/dance or whatever we want with the talent on this team.

Me! Got a feeling this year is gonna be good. Saw in the examiner where Dresden currently ranked 7th in 1a for the state. Of course, U.C. is still #1 and looking for a three-peat. Can't wait to see this young team grow and just get better and better throughout the season.

That's the best part about it. Westview SHOULD win. Westview is SUPPOSED to win. But as of late, that's not a 100% sure bet. Hopefully Dresden pulls off another upset. Gonna have to play a dang near perfect game to do it, so not all that likely really. But those couple of wins we did have felt mighty good (Westview defense looked pretty cupcake-y as I recall) . We scrimmage Friday.... I'm hopeful, as always, but we are so very young. Sho do look like UC is THE TEAM to beat this season! Grrrr....

I would get ejected before kick off. Funniest person to watch on the sideline would be select55. Could you imagine? Could charge double admission.

Sad to hear we've lost another great coach, DeBerry. (New teaching job in Lexington? I think) Poor Coach Rang is really gonna have to work miracles. Guess I will have to go down there and offer my coaching expertise. Got our work cut out for us, that's for sure.

i'm sure there will be an adjustment period just like with anyone else, but he can handle it. As far as getting hit hard, that will just make him want to hit harder back. And I wouldn't be the first to volunteer to get hit by him. I don't think he is mentally ready for center as I said before, but depends on what other choice we have. We'll see. Hopefully he will prove himself to the naysayers. Still a whole lot of talent on this very young team. Quincy, Jolley, Nanney, Yates, Williams, Mitchell, Hutch, are all capable of leading this team somewhere. Do Work Boys!

Wishing Dresser and family the best at Memphis. Hate to lose him, but as yso said, we have some qualified back-ups that will work hard to step up. No doubt. Bigger question is will there be an o-line to protect whoever is back there? Cantrell is not ready for center as a freshman. Big job for anybody. Good luck to Coach Rang and the Dresden Lions. Thought announcement would be made today for some reason. Then today heard still doing interviews. Ahhhh!!!! Ready to get a coach and start working for that state championship,may not be this season, but a ring is coming soon to these Lions. Yeah, buddy. Betcha a dollar. *with the right coach*

Man, I hate to lose Coach Hodge, but wish him and his family the best. Hopefully the powers that be will choose the right man for the job. I would love for these upcoming Lions to enjoy the pride and success that comes with a winning program like the Hodges have help build here at Dresden.

Is it football season yet?!? I'm ready to get fired up again. Upcoming sophomore class should be phenomenal. Hope new freshmen are ready to work. Looking for Jolley to be a be a beast. He would be intimidating at backer for sure. What y'all talking bout Run AND throw? Am I in the right forum? Dresden Lions, right?
