I had no problem them being in the middle of the field it was the taunting,chanting,and pointing at our players on our sidelines. If you want to go to the middle of the field and get pumped up thats fine but all the other stuff is uncalled for. I thought a fight was going to break out over there before the refs got between them.

Iam glad someone else seen this. This might be why they are having so many penalties. Not very discipline.

I thought we had a answer for everything that Hampton did but Jones running the ball like he did. That kid must have worked his butt off this year.

Well I guess that was 10 wins in a row for Hampton over Cloudland. Maybe our coaches will finally realize that if you are getting out worked you are going to get beat. When you play a school twice the size of yours working harder than them is the only way you can beat them. If we dont get to work it might be 20 in a row.

If we play the way we've been playing Hampton beats us by 3 or more tds.

Make no mistake Brock Pitman is the new coach. The reason that Randy is doing the second part of spring practice is because Coach Pittman can only be here for a few days because he is living 6 hours away now. As for the team looking like the middle school that would be fine with me. They won alot of games. Who doesnt like winning?

What day and time does the weight lifting comp start?

I agree.

I go up there sometimes when they're working out but not much. They workout after school before I get off of work but there was 5 or 6 kids working out with me right after football before they started lifting as a team. Coach Overbay is over the weight lifting and does a good job with the kids.

We dont have 50+ lifting but we do have more than a handful.

Best defense Cloudland has played all year. I think that was the reason Hampton looked the way they did tonight.

I think we need to get behind whoever the coach is going to be and support them and the players. Right now the coach is Mr. Overbay. If that changes and they hire Lunsford, Matt Birchfield, or whoever we need to do the same.

I would like to see Matt be the next coach. That is hard to say because my girl plays basketball for him but we need what is best for the school. Without football all the other sports couldn't get by because football usually makes most of the money to operate on.I think Matt would be a good football coach because he knows the value of hard work and most of the kids liked playing for him when they were in jr high. He would be my choice over all the other rumors out there but thats only my opinion.

I think the Landers will be hard to beat. Alot of hard working kids and very good coaching.

Iam still around alot of the boys your talking about and I know how they feel about it. Pretty much the same as me. I am pretty sure they know that I dont think they had no talent. They felt like if they had a Byrd (one of the best players ever in the county) nobody would've left.

Who won the Middle School that year? Hampton. Where did he end up? Hampton. Did we beat Hampton the year after he left when he was at Avery after beating them 10 straight times? No. Iam just saying it looked like he knew what he was doing when he left and ending up at Hampton. Maybe Iam wrong but everybody has there own opinion.
